About the restaurant Kuzina

Le restaurant Kuzina, installé à Bordeaux, vous reçoit le temps d´un repas gourmand dans un cadre moderne. Le mobilier est en bois et la salle est très lumineuse.

Côté palais, le Chef propose une cuisine inspirée du régime crétois, à base d'huile d'olive, de poisson, de légumes et de fruits. Pour satisfaire votre palais aiguisé, il compose ses mets uniquement avec des produits locaux et s'enorgueillit d'oeuvrer pour le développement durable, en faisant travailler les petits producteurs et en évitant les transports inutiles.

The food was simple, fresh, and delicious. But the service was even better yet. So friendly and helpful making recommendations. We speak very little French but our server was able to help us in English, just as she did with other non-French speakers from various countries sitting near us. I would definitely recommend this place for fresh seafood and friendly service.

The starters were good.The main course vegetable accompaniment of aubergine was smothered in chopped raw onion which drowned the flavour. The dessert choux pastry creams were overcooked, hard and burnt - i should have sent them back. The fresh strawberries were covered in double cream, which again drowned the flavour.Lovely wine, as expected.

Simplicité, efficacité. Un poisson très bien maîtrisé. Les choux sont très gourmands. À noter : une carte des vins à des prix défiants toute concurrence sur Bordeaux. Un seul bémol, le cruel manque de confort sur les chaises des tables hautes,tout du moins pour moi. Je recommande sans hésiter

Du poisson choisi sur l'étal puis cuit de manière la plus simple et la meilleure.
Des accompagnements et des desserts à tomber.
De passage à Bordeaux, le choix s'est naturellement imposé à moi puisque c'est une deuxième visite.
Troisième à venir sans doute.

We stayed at the Maison Fredon which is the guest house affiliated with the restaurant - We where so disappointed and the room was infested with Mosquitos and was freezing cold with no basic amenities which ruined our stay and meant we did not enjoy our dinner at Kuzina. Even though the restaurant was nice we would NEVER recommend staying at Maison Fredon

Very nice place!We spent New Year´s Eve and the special menu was really delicious! Definitely if I come back to Bordeaux, I will go there again :) Both ladies working there were very nice and kind.

Great meal. Fish was cooked very nicely! Delicious starters of calamari and deep-fried feta. Side dish of pumpkin was exceptionally good. Wine list featured wines from the Grave region, great range of price options available.
