Excellent meal - each dish was perfection, though I found the portion sizes quite large and really wish I would have only ordered one course instead of two. My daughter felt the same way. Definitely reserve a table in advance during the summer season as it is high quality food, an ideal location, and well worth the experience.

A really busy evening with a great buzz. Service was quick and the waiter helped us choose. The food was excellent and reasonably priced around €270 for 4 with 2 bottles of wine etc. All in all the best meal we have had in Italy this visit.

Pizza was delicious! A beautiful bride was getting married at the church next door which only added to the charm. We will definitely come back!!

Prior to COVID we had visited the restaurant on many occasions. We always found it to be welcoming with good food reasonably priced with excellent service. Unfortunately on this occasion I am afraid it appears that the standard that we previously experienced fell well below our expectations. Service was slow, food mediocre to poor. Drinks ordered never arrived but wasn’t on the bill. We visited many restaurants on our stay in Sorrento this was the worst I’m sorry to say. I don’t think we will return.

Gorgeous restaurant recommended by a friend which did not disappoint. We had the gnocchi and macaroni (huge tubes!), with the house wine which was really good then fillet of beef and pork. Everything was delicious. We ended with the Pastieri (an Easter cake) and were given the customary Lemoncello. Exiting staff were lovely and didn’t rush us at all. Definitely one to try and week be back on our next visit! Grazie :-)

Vårt första möte med den till synes mysiga restaurangen med uteservering i vårsolen blev en besvikelse - Den var redan stängd för lunch! "-Återkom ikväll istället" Vi återvände några kvällar senare och fick uppleva en mycket trevlig restaurang med en varierad meny, trevlig och hjälpsam personal och bra vinlista. Upplevelsen var så bra så vi återkom våran sista kväll i Sorrento vilket vi absolut inte ångrar. Vi var fullständigt överväldigade av den uppmärksamhet och service vi fick i vårat meny- och vinval. Allt var till belåtenhet och satte prägel på hela vår resa. Tack ännu en gång till personal och ägare av L´Abate!!

We ate at this restaurant 8 years ago when we first (and only time) we visited Sorrento and it was fantastic. We came back for the first time since and it was even better than before....one of the best meals we've had in Italy since we arrived 2 weeks ago! Everything starting with the greeting followed by the service and exceeded only by the food makes this a "go to" restaurant when you're in Sorrento. You will not find better service anywhere....trust me, we will be back.

This restaurant was one of the best dining experiences we have had during our holiday. From the moment we arrived we were treated as special guests. The food was delicious one course better than the next. A pure joy to dine at this restaurant. So much so we have decided to cancel a five hotel experience with view of the sea to return to this wonderful restaurant with an absolutely wonderful staff for our last night in Sorrento. . I would encourage all to visit this Sorrento Gem restaurant. Dining experience will not disappoint.
