The cuisine is remarkably minimalist, but this is amply counterbalanced by the careful selection of ingredients. The chic modern setting is most ...

Great service, fabulous food. Experience to repeat
LOVELY FOOD, COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF . A LOVELY LUNCH WITH FRIENDS . JUST ONE REAMRK. FOR A RESTAURANT OF THAT LEVEL THE CUTLERY IS REALLY REALLY CHEAP AND INAPPROPRIATE
Menu l’achimia was truly a treat! Loved th flavors, creativity, and service
The food wasn’t tasty
A neighborhood gem
Cosy, friendly, genuine.
non e' da stella per me
Very friendly, welcoming and well informed service, sophisticated meals, surprising sometimes, beautiful setting, all good for a wonderful evening. Grazie mille!
Stella Michelin meritatissima! I Love L’Alchimia.
The ambiance and the decor are great, the service was excellent, very professional. The veal Milanese was very good but the other dishes we had were just ok.
Très bon restaurant.
ottimo come sempre...
Wonderful experience on all levels, with original and exquisite dishes, kind and warm service and comfortable atmosphere, decor and music. The three of us loved it.
Food was amazing. Really delicious. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.
I had very high expectations that sadly were not met. We took the tasting menu and were a bit disappointed. The food was imaginative, but with many dishes, the flavors were either not there or were too overpowering to respect the ingredients. The staff were courteous, although they seemed to be rather occupied with some VIPs seated next to us. Antipasti: I think Antipasti was where most my gripes were. The musky octopus was ok, but needed something for balance, the berries and goat cheese again ok, but not great. Red paprika starter with parmeggiano was imaginative, but texture and flavor did not impress. The worst offender was the beef tartare w/ ravioli. The beef was totally overpowered by the tomato sauce inside the ravioli, which can only be described as a very acidic tomato paste. The milk poured on top was not enough to tone done the acidity. Primi: The risotto Milanese was a bit hard.to my taste and perhaps a bit sour, but overall one of the nicest dishes. The ox tail was tender and nicely seasoned. Secondi: This is where things picked up and the turbot with chantrelles was excellent. The beef cheek and mash could have been seasoned better. The glaze was not enough flavourwise, but overall a decent dish. Dessert: Dessert was the highlight. The first cooling grape sorbet with almond milk was a great dish to reset your palate. The second dessert was an olive oil ice cream, ricotta foam and boy was it great! Easily the best dish of the night with great flavors and textures. I also liked the little candies and chocolate cigars at the end. Reminded me of Heston Blumenthal and his way to have people ”play” with their food a bit. Overall I am still happy I went. The price was ok for carefully prepared dishes, but sadly 4 dishes out of 9 were not really hitting their marks. I would have also hoped for a bit more attention from the staff. At the end no one asked how we liked the food and we sort of slipped out from the restaurant after paying without a thank you or goodbye from the staff.
Excellent and friendly ❤️ always a guarantee, even in August in a deserted Milan!! Thank you so much, L’Alchimia Staff!
We went to this restaurant as it had been recommanded to us and as it was close to our hotel. We enjoyed the evening, the food was more than excellent and the staff super friendly and helpful.
This restaurant is my new discovery on the culinary map of Milan. And it was definitely a tasty surprise , and one of the best dining experiences in Milan. Fantastic food, ambience and vibe. From beginning from the first dish, excellent veal sweetbreads served with delicious oyster mayonnaise, to delicate guinea fowl breast served as second course to the last one...dessert made from pistachios. Truly a top level place!
Good solid food. Portion sizes are borderline. One main course was way too small.
