It was Nice overall. we booked the menu on TheFork, but they told us that the price is no longer valid and that if we need certain dishes (that are included in the menu on TheFork), we need to pay extra.

We were very happy to make the trip to L’Ambroisy restaurant. The setting was in a very cute setup in a very old arched room. The food was fantastic and the Pigeon dish was the best we have ever had. Definitely worth a re-visit.

We were glad to discover a new restaurant in Vence. It was a great experience! Nice ambience, very nice wine list and great food! The service was attentive and pleasing. The chef came to greet us at the end of our meal! We will return next visit to Vence!

We come here regularly because the food and service are both consistently superb. There is nothing we have not liked a lot. We especially enjoy the interesting, lovely touches, such as the leaves from Japan (with the foie gras), the edible flowers and tiny greens that decorate the dishes.

A classic/modern restaurant that works hard to achieve gastronomic results. The setting is a bit spartan, but the food, wine and service demonstrate a commitment to delivering the quality and finesse one cherishes in the french culinary tradition.

We love this restaurant and vow to go more often. The ambiance is romantic and intimate. The service is attentive and polished without being overbearing. The Food is AMAZING - original, works of art and DELICIOUS. You know how sometimes food that is a work of art is not that tasty? Well, that doesn't happen here at all! Everything is beautiful and so satisfyingly good. It's remarkably good value for the quality and portion sizes.

The restaurant is in a small road near the centre with a football geound near it. There is little ambience, the focus is clearly on the food. The menu is very traditional pidgeon, foie gras and frogs legs starters. Nothing for vegetarians and “no sir chef cannot do a salad…” Main courses were fine, desserts were better. Wine list was fine. Conclusion an early 1990s restaurant with well executed food (though not anywhere near the current 9,5 rating) and ropy service.

I was able to change the time for our reservation (for 11 people!) just before the previously scheduled time - very accommodating on the part of the restaurant. We all agreed that everything we ordered was excellent, was served beautifully by a very attentive staff. Many thanks for a delightful evening!
