10/10My wife and I had dinner at L'Ambroisy last night andcwere impressed with the ambience, the food and the excellent service. We are happy to recommend L'Ambroisy to any gourmand / epicure and love of fine French cuisine.

9.5/10Excellent dishes. Smart, creative, original food, requiring superb qualifications by the entire kitchen staff. Fresh produce and free spirit create a new standard for lovers of French cuisine. Service, by the owner, is personal, attentive, professional and very efficient.

10/10This was our second time to go to L'Ambroissy. It was fantastic. We had the 5 course chef tasting and wines paired with it. Everything was prepared so well The chef served us and explained each course. We can't wait to return!

10/10Wow what a treat! A quintessentially French fine dining experience, perfect from start to finish. With this quality the set menu price was in fact excellent value - every dish was fascinating and truly delicious. Unexpected combinations and subtle touches. Highest mark to the fish course from us! Presented in a beautiful old building with many original features, the ambiance was peaceful but interesting, A real discovery in such a small town, felt really luck to have booked a hotel there! Vence itself is very very charming -right out of a travel magazine!

6.5/10It was Nice overall. we booked the menu on TheFork, but they told us that the price is no longer valid and that if we need certain dishes (that are included in the menu on TheFork), we need to pay extra.

10/10We were very happy to make the trip to L’Ambroisy restaurant. The setting was in a very cute setup in a very old arched room. The food was fantastic and the Pigeon dish was the best we have ever had. Definitely worth a re-visit.

10/10We were glad to discover a new restaurant in Vence. It was a great experience! Nice ambience, very nice wine list and great food! The service was attentive and pleasing. The chef came to greet us at the end of our meal! We will return next visit to Vence!

10/10We come here regularly because the food and service are both consistently superb. There is nothing we have not liked a lot. We especially enjoy the interesting, lovely touches, such as the leaves from Japan (with the foie gras), the edible flowers and tiny greens that decorate the dishes.

10/10We love this restaurant and vow to go more often. The ambiance is romantic and intimate. The service is attentive and polished without being overbearing. The Food is AMAZING - original, works of art and DELICIOUS. You know how sometimes food that is a work of art is not that tasty? Well, that doesn't happen here at all! Everything is beautiful and so satisfyingly good. It's remarkably good value for the quality and portion sizes.

7.5/10The restaurant is in a small road near the centre with a football geound near it. There is little ambience, the focus is clearly on the food. The menu is very traditional pidgeon, foie gras and frogs legs starters. Nothing for vegetarians and “no sir chef cannot do a salad…” Main courses were fine, desserts were better. Wine list was fine. Conclusion an early 1990s restaurant with well executed food (though not anywhere near the current 9,5 rating) and ropy service.

10/10I was able to change the time for our reservation (for 11 people!) just before the previously scheduled time - very accommodating on the part of the restaurant. We all agreed that everything we ordered was excellent, was served beautifully by a very attentive staff. Many thanks for a delightful evening!

10/10We live in Valbonne only 30 minutes from Vence. We have tried almost every restaurant in the area in the last 10 years. This little place was recommended to us by a friend. We came today and I can really say it is one of the tastiest restaurants I have been to. Food was absolutely delicious, we were 4 of us and we all thought the same The service was brilliant The place is cosy with a lot of charm Really I cant say anything negative about it, I will come back again and I will highly recommend it to all my friends

9/10we arrived on a late - off season - Sunday around 21.30. No other guests but (therefore) perfect service. Dishes surprisingly good. And outstanding (local) wines. Not a bargain.

10/10Brilliant food. Perfect mix of Creativity and tradition. This is also an amazing value. We had the three course menu, including oeuf cooked to 63 degrees in pea cream. Every dish was great. The chocolate dessert with blueberry was an eye-opening and mouth-watering combination. You can’t get food like this in New York,, but if you could the price would be four times as much. Service was elegant but helpful. Room is lovely and very French.
