Second time at L’Amfora and we were not disappointed. Fabulous seafood paella with lobster, very simple Spanish style baked sea bass, and fresh lovely asparagus and peppers. Wait staff was super busy, but so friendly and our food came promptly. Highly recommend for a nice dinner out in Barcelona!

Paella was extremely salty and the rice was a tad too hard. Very pricey too for the quality.

Welcoming staff, nice environment, too pricey for average food quality: typical place for tourists. The wine was acceptable, the lobster was overcooked and not very fresh. In the area there are better options for quality at same or cheaper price.

Tha seafood paella was really good but we ordered a shrimp salad and was awful (5 shrimps and 3 leaves of lettuce 14,50 €) I feel robbed.

Excellent food. Great service. A very good value. Happy to return.

Modest concern. Caballero’s bathroom opened right into someone’s table. Not sure I’d want to be seated there. Report is that there is no latch on the seniorita’s bathroom

Overall it was a good experience. The food was excellent: we had fish/seafood paella. We ordered pan con tomato, and I liked that we got to make our own. There didn't seem to be a wine list, and the house wine we got was ok, but we had so much good wine in Spain, that it was a little disappointing. I guess my main complaint about this place was atmosphere. We were greeted right away in English, we were seated in a back room near the kitchen with a bunch of other tourists. The lighting was bright and not at all romantic. The service was acceptable, but not as warm as we had gotten used to in Spain.

Bit expensive, but very close to the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc. Food was utterly delicious. The Seafood Paelle (for 3) was amazing and decently priced.
Service could be better. We also had the hugely overpriced seafood platter (we were told its way overpriced by some Spanish people the next day), but when the 1.50m girl in our group wanted to order something from the childrens menu it wasn't allowed. Sure she was an adult, but come on its not like the entire group (8ppl) was skimping on the costs.

The staff was really nice and welcoming. We expected a bit more from the paella that resulted a bit dry. Sangria and Crema catalana were very good. Prices were higher than average.
