Nice atmosphere. Food was ok. The steak was a bit hard and the beef tartare was just machine minced beef, whether I would have preferred hand chopped one. The desert, Tarte Tatin with vanilla ice cream, was absolutely delicious. One of the waiters was a bit rude. When asked about the The Fork discount, she stated that the discount is only applied if I get a main dish and a starter/desert. I informed her that on the website it’s not mentioned that ( only exclusion being Menu of the day and drinks) to which she replied: “We make the rules here”.

We struggled to find somewhere local to cater to our families tastes whilst being authentically French, as we like to introduce our children to local cuisine when we travel, but they are still quite centered on safe options. We stumbled across this restaurant on The Fork and the menu sounded less fancy but still French with no sign of pizza an pasta (which we love, but wouldn't have suited our Paris experience!) than a lot of others in the area. Sadly during curfewed covid times, everywhere is like a ghost town, but we were still greeted at the door by the most lovely lady I've met for as long as I can remember! She was full of enthusiasm and kindness during what must be such a terrible time for restaurants that so heavily rely on tourists for income. She explained the menu beautifully in perfect English, and had great friendly encouragement for my kids who were persuaded by her interactions and positivity to try frog legs for the first time (which they loved) and they both also enjoyed a rare steak and a burger as big as your head! All the food was great quality, the Bordeux house red was perfect and the wonderful host truly made us forget the grim way of the world right now for a couple of hours! Thank you so much for your hospitality and all the best for getting through these hard times!

Delicious food. The cheddar and bacon burger was exceptionally tasty and so was the mushrooms entrecôte. Good quality meat. We ate outside, very pleasant and quiet street. We Highly recommend you try this place!! Great find.

Rarely I give a perfect 10/10. But I was very pleasantly surprised with this place. Portions are huge. Prices are good. Service was great. Nothing negative. Will return soon.

This restaurant was such a great find! It was our first night in Paris, and we were both really craving mussels, when we found this little gem. The service was fast, with really kind servers too, and the food was to die for! We tried frogs legs, fish soup, and each had the mussels and all were fantastic - especially with the addition of a lovely bottle of rosé wine! A really great place to go when looking for quality seafood in an authentic Parisian setting. Merci!

Mussels with chorizo - the food was correct, however dissapointed, my mussels have not been cooked well, only half of pot was ready to eat, the rest still raw. Next time, please make sure that the meal is well done and ready to be served for client.

The staff at this cosy restaurant were friendly and helpful, and accommodated us without a reservation on a Friday night, with just a ~15 minute wait. We enjoyed it so much we went back again!

Great restaurant. All the food was outstanding. we had French onion soup and the egg poached in blue cheese for openers. had the salmon with potatoes au Groton and crème brûlée which was the best I’ve ever tasted. The service was exceptional. The waiter recommended a white wine that was really good - pouly fume. we really enjoyed it. Will go back again (:

We were taken to our which had a bank of 3 spotlights above it, as did all the other tables, this unfortunately killed the cosy atmosphere for me as they were extremely bright. The food was poor, the steak I had was very chewy and full of sinue, when they asked if the food was ok and I said the steak was chewy she just walked off. Best part of the meal was the 10 euro wine. Meal cost 100 euros but would only have been happy paying 50. Another expensive tourist trap.

About the restaurant
