Several times per month we are going eat out, so we can compare the quality. Our second dinner here. Nothing changed for 8 months. Superb food, wine, genius loci. And what is amazing, Mr. Chef (the owner) and his lovely partner are humble, serve you with nobles. They have few tables in restaurant and chef always finds the time to go out to speak with their guests. This is the place you should take your spouse or good friends :)

Please try to make a reservation. That way, you would have no problems upon arrival. The food was fantastic and the price was very fair. The chef was very nice and came to speak to us before I placed our order. I would go back here again next time I visit Paris!

The restaurant was great, unusual, quirky design, beautifully presented. We were only English people there but they were so welcoming and coped with our rubbish French so charmingly and politely.

One of the best restaurant we had pleasure to eat (for price below 50€/person). They had only one menu: fabulous tuna starter, duck breast as main and plate with 6 different tasting deserts. Everything was amazing.

If you are looking for a genuine, relaxed, cosy and intimate place with great food, then this restaurant is a wonderful find.
They offer a set menu so you do not spend hours choosing (other options are available, but we recommend that you let yourself be guided). The dishes are relatively simple, but done extremely well and with some wonderful twists to the sauces. Imagine perfectly cooked scallops (starter) and entrecote (main) that makes you close your eyes to savour the flavours, leaving you not quite certain what all of the components are, but admiring how well they go together.
The chef joined the hostess in serving us and shared his passion for the food (as well as some secrets as to exactly what went into those sauces). This gave the service a really personal quality. Expect attentive and friendly service rather than bustling efficiency.
The wine selection is very good with a mix of both the classics and a few interesting variations.

Quite possibly the best meals we've had in Paris, enjoyed in a cozy place that felt more like somebody's home than a restaurant. A truly memorable evening.

A perfect evening at L'Apatam! The chef and the hostess were so warm and friendly, and the cuisine was superb! Each dish was so thoughtful and prepared with love. The veal entreé was light and refreshing, perfectly balanced with a spice from Madagascar and coconut milk. The turbot was fresh and perfectly seasoned. And the Apple and pear crumble was the perfect ending for a lovely meal. The wine list is amazing! We highly recommend L'Apatam and would be regulars if we lived here! Merci beau coup!!
