This little restaurant was so inviting when we walked by earlier in the day and saw the proprietor making pasta in the window that we immediately made a reservation for that evening and we were not disappointed!! A little off the more people-y path but still central Oltranano, quaint and family-run, friendly and of course, the food was delicious!

Cosy, family run restaurant with home made pasta, sauces and perfectly prepared Florentine steak. The atmosphere is lively and friendly, the service personable and efficient. The panne cotta is superb. The food excellent. A great place with a good wine list.

A very friendly, casual restaurant serving the very best pasta! We enjoyed a good range of antipasti with great quality cold cuts, then each one of their hand made pastas (pici, ravioli and pappardelle with their house sauce). All of it was utterly superb and we didn’t leave a single piece, despite being full - just too good to waste! Thought I was the only one who loved tiramisu but my family decided to ‘help’ me! Highly recommended and big thanks to the restaurant for a truly delicious and memorable meal!

We've been in Florence for a week already and this is the best meal we've had yet. It's the meal we've been waiting to have. Literally everything was delicious. The pastas we're fantastic, including the spaghetti with garlic, oil, and peppers and the pappardelle with the house sauce (which was an intoxicatingly good), the grilled and fried chicken were amazing, the crostiini, etc. All of it, just delicious. Plus, the service was excellent and friendly, and you can watch the chef and her assistant preparing the food while you wait. Hands down, the most memorable meal we've had and we've already made reservations for two nights from now. :-)

Amazing decor with art on the walls. The pasta is homemade and excellent. The service is friendly and quick. Recommended by our local taxi driver and he was right.

Excellent food and service! We were a bit surprise to see that the place is a little hidden but once entering there, we were really good taken care of. The food was very/ very good! We had some starters: bruschetta and a soup than I took pasta, and my husband took a stake. Everything was delicious and the food was fresh and fast brought to us.. Not to mention that the prices were fear :)

I loved the family atmosphere and great food! Well priced . Unfortunately , no vegetable/salad options . Waiter/owner was very efficient considering he was serving alone. Nice out-of-the way spot.
