Dans le folklore de la rue du Pot au Fer, ne vous fiez pas aux enseignes attrapes-touristes et mordez à l’hameçon de l’Atelier Carnem. Comme l’indique son nom, l’adresse sort les crocs pour la viande d’exception et il y a de quoi perdre son latin ! On craque d’abord pour le décor rustique mais chiquement twisté avec son sol en sable fin, puis pour la « barback », unique en son genre. Les rarissimes entrecôtes s’affichent sur une carte courte faisant la synthèse des meilleurs morceaux du monde avant de se griller au choix entre plancha et flammes ravivées par les sarments de vignes bio. Parmi le ribeye d’Argentine d’une tendresse inouïe, la Rubia de Gallice maturée 3 semaines ou encore l’incontournable wagyu d’Australie à la chair bien persillée, notre coup de croc reste la Riverine d’Australie suave et caractérielle à la fois. Si les préliminaires commencent fort avec de la charcuterie ibérique ou un os à moelle truffé, les ébats charnels se clôturent en douceur avec une crêpe Suzette revisité au Jack Honey.

Bons vivants initiés aux goûts francs dans leurs adresses respectives de la rue du Pot au Fer - une crêperie Bio pour l’un, une cave à vin pour l’autre - Luc et Alexandre décident de partager leur amour du bon produit en ouvrant ensemble l’Atelier Carnem.

    High quality steak, I initially thought it was a bit expensive but after eating the steak it was definitely worth every penny and the waitress was extremely helpful

    Excellent noix d’entrecôte à la plancha, great place for meet lovers. My second time here and consistently good service and food, will come back and recommend. Dish price is fair for the quality, just wine list that I found to be more expensive than usual.

    I have been coming into this little nested restaurant over the last 3 years and it keeps staying at the top of my list. This is just the best steak in Paris. Superb quality meat cooked at perfection in a live fire barbecue. Fantastic wine list. Relaxed and elegant atmosphere. Professional, competent and very educated service, which is a plus in this time of careless service even on top notch restaurant. Not cheap but what a pleasure paying for excellence. Undoubtedly, my favorite meat restaurant in Paris.

    Brunch is soooooo nice!The restaurant is decorated in a very special way. The floor is covered with fine sand. The waiters are good-looking and speak good English. This restaurant is highly recommended!

    I loved everything about this restaurant and consider this the best meal we had in our stay in Paris. The atmosphere is warm and cosy yet not too cramped. The service was also warm and inviting. The steaks were superb. We ordered barbecue style (cooked over wood fire) Argentinian and the 60 day aged Iberico.
