6/10The waiters were fine and accommodating, however I explained that I had a garlic and onion allergy and my meals still came out with onion and garlic. When I returned my entree of Seared salmon because it had pieces of garlic in it, it came back with a raw piece of salmon in the broth with cabbage on top. I don't mean to be rude, but a little more care and effort would have been appreciated. Unfortunately my steak was bland and chewy. The staff are responsive and kind but overall it was an average experience at best. The view is the only thing worthwhile about the restaurant.

4/10We booked lunch with great expectations having looked at the reviews & menu online. Unfortunately we discovered on arrival that the menu & staff are very limited on a Monday. The options were mainly pre-prepared including pates in a jar & pre-cut smoked salmon from the fridge. The steak we had was extremely tough, not seasoned & no sauce to accompany the bland meat. Our meal was accompanied with very oily vegetables. Service was slow. Staff seemed uninterested & made no real effort. Overall expensive for a below average meal & dining experience.

10/10Honestly one of the best dining experiences I have had in years and I do not give praise lightly. I cannot stress the ambience, quality of service, food preparation, presentation and value for money, not to mention a simply fabulous view from the terrace. Do not fail to visit this establishment.

10/10Beautiful setting, friendly and efficient service and wonderful food. We visited on a Sunday when they offer food cooked on the plancha in the middle of your bar table. Coupled with excellent entrees, excellent wine and wonderfully desserts, we very much enjoyed our experience.

10/10I highly recommend you add this restaurant to your itinerary when visiting the Saint Emilion region. The setting provides for an exceptional serene dining experience that you can't find anywhere else. The restaurant, patio and garden are beautiful and enchanting. The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was great and the wine selection fantastic. If you're looking for something unique, this is a must do.

10/10As ever the service was attentive and personable. The restaurant is tranquil and calm and has an amazing vista stretching across vineyards in two directions. The food and wine were wonderful. It is just a really good place to eat, drink and relax.

8.5/10The brasserie offers open dining where you cook your food at the high table. It was a tasty and enjoyable experience but I found the service was a little slow as I had to chase for plates as our food was ready and needed to come off the hot plate. We didn't get a chance to order dessert as we had to leave (arrived at 12.10 and left at 14.00).

9/10Beautiful setting the amuse bouche, entrée and dessert were delicious … we both had the veal for the main course and found it to be a bit tough. The vegetables were well cooked but not seasoned.

8/10The "quasi veal" is not very tasty, and was overcooked. On the other hand, the meat tataki was too cold, almost frozen in the inside. Wine list lacks variety in the middle price range

10/10The restaurant has a beautiful setting,lovely outdoor area with views all around. The food lived up to all of our expectations and our entire group absolutely enjoyed every course. We had one vegetarian in the group and that was accommodated in the menu. We all had the dinner menu and came away feeling very satisfied and full. Good value for money for what we received relative to many of the other St Emillion restaurant. Staff were very attentive and all spoke good English.

10/10It was a great experience all in all. from the time we arrived, we were welcomed by the team, and let us walk around the area. The food was excellent and will definitely come back again. Also, the next door connected to L'atelier de Candale wine tasting was a really nice touch and the team was very accommodating. We had the best time and it couldn't be better!!!

10/10It was our first visit to L'Atelier de Candale despite living nearby and the only regret was not visiting sooner. The location, views, food and service were all 5 star - highly recommend.

6/10The setting was absolutely beautiful - what an amazing place to dine. The food looked amazing and our starters were good, but everyone on the table was disappointed with their main meals. Everything looked great - perfect photo food. But the fish lacked flavour, the steaks were too chewy to finish, and the duck was also lacking flavour. Afraid the food did not live up to the surrounding beauty. If the food can match the setting this place would be amazing.
