Great restaurant with a special atmosphere and fantastic cuisine. Highly recommend the vegetarian menu. Also, a wonderful wine collection.
Très belle table et très accessible.
Great for the value
This restaurant is FANTASTIC! Reservations recommended. First the address is 133 Ave des Champs-Elysees. Trick, when you arrive the restaurant you walk into (LE Drugstore) is NOT what you want. Walk past this restaurant, through the upscale drugstore/market and you will see within the store a staircase with a large floor mat with the name of this restaurant on it. You will need to walk down a lovely wide spiral stair case into the restaurant. We sat at the counter overlooking the open kitchen. The food was amazing. Service was incredible. The menu is only in French and they read the menu to us in English. Every dish ordered was fantastic. I am a lover of Foie Gras and Black truffles…. If you enjoy this type of food you will love the restaurant.
I had my very pleasant experiences before with robuchon in the world. As I was staying in Paris, I wanted to give myself a really good pamper by booking this restaurant. My booking was at 8:30. But we weren’t seated until 9:30 because they said we were the second round. We were strongly discouraged from having any of the tasting menu. So we ordered an entree and a main course each with glasses of wine. Things were alright and the other guests seemed to be really entertained at first. However the service turned so bad after what it appeared us to be some important guest arrived at 11pm. Every waiter/waitress and the sommelier were trying their best to get the important guests’ attention. We were completely transparent to the waiter/waitress after the important guests arrived. We asked for the dessert menu but none was provided. Whilst it is not a must, but no petite four or the usual gift for ladies were provided (and these were provided to all the other guests we saw in the restaurant). I don’t know if it was because we do not speak french or because we were Asian. But this kind of restaurant do not deserve to be associated with the name of robuchon. It is a shame and we would ask anyone who do not speak french to not to go to such a horrible restaurant
Could improve the mains in set lunch. It was quite well but slightly lower than my expect. Overall it was well, and we really enjoy the Brie in the cheese plate. Thanks for the warm hospitality.
Always a pleasure to come to l'Atelier. Very good food. The lunch menu offers good value for money. Staff was quite disappointing not friendly as usual and paying little attention to us.
Our third visit over the last six months. Excellent food, as usual. It's worth mentioning that the caviar mini-dish was strange - too fishy, if you expect the taste of caviar, you will be disappointed, as I was. Excellent service, as usual. Very expensive, as usual. Still highly recommended.
Always very good food at l’Atelier. You can’t be disappointed.
Everything we had hoped it would be. Friendly and attentive service who helped us English speakers understand the menu. Wine pairings were terrific. Open kitchen was fun to watch. Would go again next time we visit Paris.
Fantastic! Great ambiance and amazing food. Staff was on point! Will be back.
Food was good, but everything is highly over-priced. No idea why this restaurant has such a big reputation, comparing to many other restaurants all over the world there was nothing special, it is just good and too expensive.
The food is stunning in every aspect - taste, presentation, sophistication. The service is second to none. Excellent wine list. The menu is a bit confusing, and the sitting at the bar is unusual. Very expensive, but worth it.
Sterile atmosphere with pushy but friendly wait staff. Restaurant entrance through a backstreet door into the basement of a department store, welcomed by a foosball table in the waiting area?!? Wait staff recommend ordering way too much astronomically priced food, which is delivered in a rushed way. They highlight the Entrecôte which was properly cooked but as tough as old boots. Clearly catering to and preying-on the tourist market, this restaurant is a discredit to the chef and the Michelin Star rating system.
