10/10Excellent dinner. I visited with my daughter. We took the all-inclusive menu of 3 courses for €50. Prices a little on the high side but food was absolutely delicious, reasonable portions so that we did not struggle to finish near the end. Some extras thrown in at the start and the end of the dinner too. Menu is limited but whatever we ordered was sublime. Must rank as the best we've had in Brussels. Great hosts too. Very friendly and helpful. A lovely experience at L'Ateler de Willy.

10/10A lovely restaurant beautifully laid out. The set menu was excelelnt with a good choice. The food we had was marvellous and there were a couple of little extras that were much appreciatd and very tasty. Service was excellent throughout. We both had house wines which were great and I can recommend the very reasonably priced house bordeaux which was delightful. Overall a lovely dining experience which we greatly enjoyed.

9.5/10We tried their lunch menu, which was really good both in taste and presentation. The service was great, too, even though we had a last minute cancellations and went there as 5 instead of 7, they were very kind.

8/10Aankleding restaurant kan beter. Eten steekt men veel liefde in maar daar kunnen de puntjes nog wat strakker.

9.5/10What a fabulous meal. The menu was small but each of our choices was superb. The husband and wife team who own/run this restaurant were excellent. We had a lovely evening and would very happily go back to this restaurant when we return to Brussels.

8.5/10Delicious meal. Very friendly, but bit slow service. Certainly a 9. Could be a 10+ improving service ànd using only fresh ingredients.

8.5/10Great food and service, but the vibe of the restaurant was somewhat off. Decoration could use a bit of rethinking and investment.

9/10Really good food and excellent service. The only thing I’d change would be the lighting, to reduce it to make it more intimate and cosy. Will definitely return.

9.5/10This restaurant has gone traditional. it's a trend seen across Belgium as the restaurant industry searches for more sustainable ways to exist. This dining space in Brussels is a signpost for restaurant observers. Can the chef deliver a fine dining experience that's memorable for all the right reasons? The answer is yes. But you won't see the chef because he works in the souterain, in the cellar, and the food is brought up by a kitchen elevator. The sommelier, he is in charge of the beasts of burden carrying wine, and two waitresses do everything: greet guests upon arrival, discuss pre-dinner drinks orders – the sommelier pours drinks, the waitresses clear plates, both chat with every guest and the sommelier give an informed rundown of the beverages list. The somelier is born in Bourgogne. I thought I just let you know. The prep in the unseen kitchen during the day must be a lot work. The kitchen is their backstage to our on-stage. Are you a bread lover? Bread keepscoming, with a malty, developed flavour, smelling sweetly. I am a fan of their challenging very large wine list. Some diners are doing many courses, we did just three. We experienced some real FOMO time! The food it's so, so good! May I give a pro tip? Order eveything from the menu with the word Holstein in it (and for the desert everything with choclate!). Reward this Willy and his atelier staff for building something so personal, traditional and meaningful and highly engaging that it busts all the rules of fine dining. What a joy.
