10/10Non-pretentious fine dining at a modest price. The ambience of the small restaurant is superb... very relaxed and laid back while looking top notch. Staff were friendly. The pace of service was just right to savour and enjoy each course. The portion sizes were perfect. The menu gave an exciting variety of flavours and textures. All dishes were bursting with flavour and surprise. The organic wine was a perfect complement to the menu. This was a truly memorable experience .... we highly recommend it.

10/10The quality of the food is as always excellent .....one small suggestion for the fruit there could be some decoration with f.ex. rasperries or ...... but it doesn t matter

9.5/10This is a little gem. Great freshly prepared food - little choice on actual dishes but they can be adapted to help some allergies etc. The dishes served though are delicious and amazing value, with little flourishes that make it my favourite restaurant in old town Alicante.

9.5/10We had a wounderful dinner, fantastic homemade meal that tasted heavenly. Its a smal and realy Nice restaurant and we Will absolutt return to L’Atlier! They Even made adjustements for me that dont eat meat without any hesitations. Thank you🙏

9.5/10We have dined at L 'Atelier several times over the years, and found it to be consistently excellent. The food is delicious, the service efficient and attentive, the ambience pleasantly peaceful. And it is great value for money. A visit to Alicante is not complete without a visit to L' Atelier

7/10We have eaten here some years ago and liked it so much were looking forward to going again However, because the restaurant is so popular it is necessary to book in advance but this does not enable you to see the daily menu before hand. This is why we were disappointed because the menu was not to everyone's taste.

10/10Excellent lunch and very good service. We opted for the 4 course lunch (although the main is really 2 separate courses - the first being fish, followed by the meat course). The quality and taste of all the courses was exceptional. Service was very attentive without being at all invasive and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxing (quiet background music). In summary, we would recommend L’Atelier and hope to be back very soon.

10/10I ordered a table for 2 for my wife’s 40th who is a vegetarian and they were extremely accommodating. Even though the main course is either fish or meat, they adapted the main course to provide a great vegetarian option for my wife. And we felt really cared for throughout the evening and my wife was made felt very special. And the price (cheap) doesn’t reflect the quality of the food (which was just amazing)!

9/10Lovely small dishes in fixed price menu but main dish, a fish en croute, was awful -way overcooked in a not interesting sauce. Still most of the other parts of the menu were so good that it was hard to decide between 4 stars and 5 stars. We would definitely go back and try them again when we were next in Alicante. It was an elegant and relaxing dining experience.

10/10We had the 29 euro set menu. Every course was an absolute delight. It was three courses but was supplemented with various appetisers which in themselves were amazing. This restaurant is the best one I have been to in Alicante. I would eat here every night if I could

Cocina mediterránea con toques de autor y a precios asequibles en el casco antiguo de Alicante, cerca de la catedral y del ayuntamiento. La descripción se corresponde a L'Atelier, un restaurante que hace bandera de la pasión por la gastronomía en platos elaborados con mimo y con productos frescos y en un servicio profesional y atento. El local, pequeño pero con mesas amplias y cómodas, está decorado con elegancia y cuenta con el encanto de las paredes de piedra. Ejemplos de su cocina (donde, por cierto, también elaboran el pan): ‘cannelloni' de camarones con aceite de albahaca y ‘serrín' de nueces; lomo de bacalao al gratín sobre discos de calabacín a la plancha con aceite de guindilla; solomillo de cerdo al Pedro Ximénez... Si no te gusta algún plato del menú que vayas a probar, avísalo en la reserva y te ofrecerán un par de alternativas. Y no olvides rematar el ágape con alguno de los tés de la carta.
