What a hidden gem! everything was delicious, very well presented and speedily served (even though there was also a large group (wedding party??) there at the same time as us. We also really liked the interior decor (that we got to appreciate when it started to rain a bit too much for the parasols on the terrace).

We have been many times over the last decade but stopped due to Covid. We were very impressed as they revamped the decor internally and externally when they had to shut due to Covid. In our view the food is even better than before and it was good then. The service was brilliant with both waiters running fast to the kitchen throughout service. The ambiance superb under the trees in the garden. Highly recommend and we shall go again soon.

Although the restaurant was very busy as we arrived, we were still welcomed by the owners. I couldn’t fault my food. Our 3 course lunch was served hot & the courses were well spaced. Our rose was kept chilled in a cooler & we sat at a lovely table under the big tree in the courtyard. I have never been able to fault this restaurant - we discovered it several years ago & love it so much, we return every time we are in France, which is often. The owners work so hard to make it perfect, in every way. Thank you!

It's always a pleasure to make the road up the the summer freshness of Bar sur Loup, escaping the heat of the coast, and have a delicious dinner under the huge linden trees in the garden of "L'École des filles" restaurant. If the choice is not huge, you can choose any item in the menu with blind eyes as everything is excellent and based on fresh products worked with love and patience. I strongly suggest you try the "Black Demon" 2020 Malbec Merlot wine from their good selection. Very good value for monney, which makes the trip inland even more interesting. An address I strongly recommend. ????

The most fabulous restaurant. We’ve been coming here for more than 20 years (a 3 year break because of covid measures). The food never disappoints and the guys who run it are very lovely. We’ve booked it for 4 lunches during our 2 week vacation. Love it! For me it’s Michelin standard food.

We first came to ecoke 2 years ago for the first time we were very impressed with the Standard of the food it was very good indeed . So last night another visit ,eating outside it was full , again excellent food a gazpacho Then breaded hake covered in a a mesh of cucumber delicious and unusual There are just 2 waiters who are a bit pushed but they managed it well they clearly care

Lovely little restaurant with a charming courtyard for outdoor dining. The restaurant is built in a former girls’ school and they have little touches inside as a reminder. The food itself was well cooked and presented, and good value for money. The service was attentive, and we appreciate the waiters speaking with us in English considering the restaurant was clearly a local haunt. The only constructive criticism I’d offer is that they should have at least one vegetarian main to accommodate for all dietary requirements.
