In the jungle of the Dutch restaurants where it is easy to pick up rubbish, eat bad and spend a fortune, this is a nice certainty: good meat, well cooked and if you stay in their concept, price is fair.
We always go back.

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of eating at le Entrecôte. The menu is simple but excellent. We both had the entrecôte, along with the salad and home made fries that come with the meal. We 'tried' ordering it medium but were advised by the owner to order it rare/medium rare. We obliged, trusting his expertise, and were served a steak that melted in your mouth with the deep and pure flavour only found in meat of this quality. The sauce served with the steak was vibrant and tasty; a perfect accompaniment. The fries and mayo, also home made, were perfect - thin, crispy and fresh. If you ran out, they were more than happy to put another bowl on the table.
We had a wonderful time all around and will definitely be back. Apparently in the warmer months they have a large terrace, along with a lunch menu. If the dinner menu is anything to go by, we'll have to find our way there around noon sometime! ;) Thanks to the owner and chef for a memorable evening.
