We loved this restaurant and dined two nights in a row. Both were different experiences. On the first night we were inside and the restaurant was classy and had a great atmosphere - food was amazing. On the second night we sat at bar for pre dinner drink overlooking lake which was beautiful and then sat outside for another amazing dinner and idyllic setting. The staff were very attentive and helpful with selections. We would highly recommend a visit.

Asked for special Romantic table due to 10th Wedding Anniversary no special welcome or reference made to the request. Slow service despite being half empty 15 minutes before being given menu instructions. Food far too salty, poor service not asked how was meal, didn't even get offered a coffee, worst food and service ever.

We had a reservation but they decided on the same evening that they close the restaurant ( maybe because it was to quiet or Italy was playing in the Semifinals of the European Championship?) and they never led us know. And the concierge of the 5 Star Grand Hotel (what 5 Stars???) not even apologized. Maybe you should consider another restaurant or hotel. Menaggio has super alternatives:

One of the best home-style meals I have ever had with an incredible view. Go for sunset and go hungry! Almost to much food but luckily they finish the 7 courses off with lemonchello. Will 100% go back.
