It's a nice restaurant. With a certain quality of foods. The advantage is its cuisine is well done in traditional method, you can actually imagine the taste and the settings. If it has a newer touch of the food, it will be better.

Great restaurant, they made an extra special effort as it was a friend's birthday. It was particularly great value for money as we had the special offer and service was absolute fantastic. Highly recommend.

We were there as membre d'Assiette Genevoise and were told at the time we wanted to settle the bill that we could not pay by credit card (I noticed afterwards that the description in the AG booklet indeed mentions this). This made me feel like a second class customer (and a bit embarrassed to my partner) and we left on this negative note (without leaving our usually tip which would have been greater then the 3% charges that the gerant told us a credit card payment would cost him)

The owner of the restaurant is present and does his best to serve his clients. The presentation of the plates is appetizing and well done. However, the kithchen seems to have a problem with the meat preparation in the filet d'agneau and filet de boef. The owner kindly offered the coffee as recompensation but his promise was not honored on the final bill. Would probably will take a little while before giving them another try.

We have visited L’Escapade a number of times this year and just love it. Dishes are consistently of high-quality, carefully prepared and beautifully presented. And the staff are fantastic – warm, welcoming, and professional. I look forward to returning soon!

Food was very good but without the discount I would say it is overpriced. The restaurant was extremely noisy. It seems that the all the voices bounce off the walks somehow and it's hard to hear anything at your own table. Service at the beginning if the night was a bit hopeless. No one brought us a menu for the first 15 mins. Service did improve as the restaurant emptied out.

A very good meal; the 'faggotini a la ricotta' which I had for entrée was sublime! Quite expensive, but a high standard of cuisine.
