The food was excellent, the setting was really cozy. We had several servers - most of them seemed fine/normal - however, one of them had the unfriendliest faces possible. Upon paying our check her last word to us was a firm “OK!”

We spent a fantastic New Year's Eve here. The ambience is always great, the table was beautifully decorated and everything was prepared for us. A very tasty, high-quality menu awaited us. Wine and Cava included and the glasses were always full. Compliments to the kitchen and especially to the very friendly service. Thank you for an atmospheric evening!

We arrived to a very quiet restaurant & sat in the terrace outside. After 10 minutes the waitress arrived to take our food order…we hadn’t seen a menu at this point even though 4 members off staff where stood around. After another long period we ordered drinks & I swear the size of the white wine was literally a tasting size. Starters where very good bit two of the dishes where served in chipped bowls. Main courses 3 pig cheeks well sadly this was basically what you would be served in a pub no vegetables just tasteless mash. We asked for more drinks…they never arrived.we asked for the bill it never arrived. Terrible service & basic food in a place that could be perfect

Our experience wasnt the best. We don't think It is a bad place at all, just our experience turned out to be not succesfull. Eventhough the staff was kind and helpful, there were not enough burguer buns for everyone Who wanted; two main dishes were cold when served; the burguer meat (very low quality due to the place expectations/prices ) we ordered "raw" were cooked the same as the rest (ordered as "done") and the waiting time for everything was way too long. One of us is gluten intolerant and they excuse the long waiting with having to defrost that bread, but still no excuse for the rest of inconveniences. First of all, they offered us free dessert in compensation for the waiting time. After 3 minutes, they changed their offer without explanation "We are giving you free croquetas". It was a nice gesture but we had already finished eating and We did not want the croquetas (also, the gluten intolerant could not eat them). It would have being nicer to make some discount over our real order/dishes.

Very impressed with the restaurant & food. Chose the tasting menu so able to sample 6 smalker courses from the menu. Good atmosphere & waiting staff very efficient. Only suggestion is that when the food arrives it would be good to explain the dish being presented.

The restaurant is perfect. Delicious food. Very good service. But I think the Fork app is hacked. After I made the reservation I received I weird mail to reconfirm the reservation with, of course, a link for reconconformation. Sudpicious. Why? I didn’t reconfirm. At the restaurant it appeared that there was nothing wrong with my first reservation. Next, I received a mail for easy pay. Why??

Initial impression - stylish restaurant with attentive staff. However, the food disappointed. The "Denia Bay Prawns" were not the quality we are used to and the calamar was overcooked and tough. Sadly, we will not return.

We all thoroghly enjoyed our visit. It was very difficult to choose from the delicious and vast menu. Every single dish was beautifilly prepared and the service was excellent. The menu del mediodia is very good value for money. Thanks.

From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel welcome by the friendly staff. The decor of the restaurant is tastefully done and was spotlessly clean. . The meal itself was superb. I ordered the fish and it was cooked to perfection. My wife had the fish casserole and she said the source was the best she’d ever had. The deserts were excellent too. I would highly recommend this restaurant and if we visit Denia again, we will definitely be going back.

Overall a good evening, although the restaurant was very busy the staff were friendly and attentive and the service was good. It was very helpful that one waiter spoke good English and could explain the dishes, as it was not easy to understand. The presentation was excellent and I can highly recommend the sea bass fillet which was excellent. Unfortunately, my friend chose the fois and peach. pastry dish to start which was very disappointing as it was mostly pastry with only a tiny bit of fois and peach and was very dry.. they should re think this dish. Also, two friends ordered the crab ravioli, however, when it was presented, it was not ravioli but tiny pasta tubes not what they were expecting and it was served with a lot of sauce poured over the top which made it more like a soup with a bit of pasta. Ravioli parcels would be much better with less sauce.

Our meal today at L'Escoleta in Denia was superb. My husband and I both enjoyed our starters and main courses which were cooked to perfection. The decor is wonderful and we had attentive, courteous service. Very good value for money. We'll be back soon.

We had fish and beef. The food was amazing and they have a nice selection of wine per glass which made a lovely pairing with the food. The staff is really friendly and helpful (from the hostess to the waiter/waitress. They are dog friendly which is a huge plus for us as we are traveling with our small dog. We were too full from the main meal, but the dessert options looked amazing! So we will come back to try that as well!

A nIce restaurant that offers 'modern' food, to a high standard. The décor is eclectic and adds to the charm. The staff are very attentive and it is usually busy - which says it all.
