Very disappointing. All pretence and no substance, unfortunately. The menu was extremely limited, the food was unremarkable and the waiting time exhausting! 90 minutes for an entrée and 3 three hours, overall, for three indifferent courses made it almost a endurance record on all fronts. This is the first - and hopefully the last - time we’ve ever had to write such a review but we honestly feel it should be said, in order to engender some improvements.

Nice meal.. good not great. Service was also good but this restaurant was clearly understaffed and the the small team did the best to their ability. The outdoor courtyard is small but has some ambiance, I would not eat inside but outside is the best option

Lovely setting. Unfortunately we were told when arriving the beef main course was not available, instead there was a duck alternate- that was a duck starter and main. Limiting if you’re not a big duck fan. Sommelier was not interested in us when we asked for the wine list and not selecting the wine pairing. Only 2 waitresses as sommelier didn’t both with some. All in all, disappointing experience

Great food and attentive service especially from the manager Jordan made the dinner special and memorable, exactly what we were looking for on our first trip to Avignon to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary . One of the best meals in our lifetime !

We had a mixed experience. The starters were all superb. Flavours well balanced. The risotto was ok,, the chicken tasted good but undercooked. Even though I’d notified the restaurant on booking that one in the group was gluten free, no gluten free bread was available. So they had foie gras without anything. Two of the waitresses were very good

The food was ok, the desserts very good, and reasonably priced. The setting nice enough, but this owner who is also the sommeiller was almost rude and disdainful when he enquired about our travel plans. Being judged about whether we had chosen the best places to visit was inappropriate. The rest of the staff were nice.

Ordered dinner with a wine pairing and didn't get the last pairing. Food was pretty mediocre. Staff couldn't keep up with the 3/4 full restaurant and started turning people away. Would not recommend this restaurant at all.

There was a new maitre d - with apparently very little support from the other waiting staff. Service was, frankly, a shambles. Food also hit and miss. Couple of nice dishes but some others were very average, and one pudding terrible. Overall, very disappointing I’m afraid.

We returned after a gap of 17 years. The decor had changed, the staff had changed, but the food and the welcome were as wonderful as we remembered. The mushroom ravioli is a truly spectacular dish.

The place is outstanding. The service for this dinner was poor. Overwhelmed and understaffed. The food was adventurous and in my opinion, underwhelming. I love this restaurant and reserved 3 months in advance for “the best meal experience in Avignon “. I was disappointed. Michael Maceachern

It was New Years eve and we dud expect one menu only but we never got a chance to see the menu and price even we asked. One table of 6 left because of the price. The food was ok but the waiters were stressed even we came early with only one other table full and even people came with good distance in time, the atmosphere from waiters was really stressful, which did create a happy new year environment

The restaurant was a real surprise. Excellent food and service. Lola offered us a great example of friendly hospitality: always smiling and suggesting the right things at the right time. Wines a little bit expensive but the offer is wide so you can make your choise according to your possibilities. Highly rcommended.
