Great hide away to escape from the mainstream food circuits and go deep into soul legit Italian food. Small place, so you better make sure to have a reservation if valentine's day or any other occasion of the sort. From I saw/heard, you can pretty much walk in in any other day of the week/occasion. Prices are not super cheap but they are for sure ok for the quality of the ingredients and the super warm welcome from their staff (rare stuff in Paris) who were kind enough to translate their menu for every single table (how amazing is that?). Thank you Messy Nessy for the tip ;)
This is a very charming little restaurant serving excellent Italian food. It is so out of the way - above a cheese shop, we would have never stumbled upon it but it was recommended to us and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The service was friendly and excellent as well.
The best Italian food in Paris. The service and ambiance was unlike any other spot we have visited. The tiramisu has 1 Michelin star but the entire restaurant deserves 2!! Bon appetite.
We enjoyed the fried zucchini appetizer and veal main dish (huge and delicious but undercooked near the bone). Both servers, Linda and Laura, were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The only negative is the restaurant is small with only 9 tables which are very close together.
It is the best Italian restaurant we’ve had. The place was great, food was amazing and service exceptional.
The hostess/waitress we had on our last visit was extremely rude. This is legit my favorite restaurant in Paris and I have been here at least 7 times. My wife and I showed up 20 minutes late for our 20h réservation because of a mix up on our part. When we got there and checked in she basically said I gave your table away and sorry nothing I can do for you. (As a side note when we got there 5 two party tables were open). After we protested she said okay but you have to be done by 21:30. (As if even if we got there at 20h it was a guarantee we would be done by 21h30). In addition, we kept speaking in French to her and she consistently would answer us in English. (AS an FYI my mom is from Belgium and French is my first language). She then told us she should probably explain the menu to us because we probably would not understand it. The rest of the night she was very rude. With all that said the food is absolutely amazing and the other 6 times I went the service was exceptional and the staff was very friendly.
The food was amazing. The restaurant is small and on the 2nd floor. A man showed up who knew one of the waitresses. Both waitresses disappeared and ended up in a very loud fight with him downstairs. Customers tried to leave and couldn’t. It lasted a while. There was no apology for the chaos. Service went downhill from there. The tension in the room was bad. Never again. It ruined my meal - total waste of $60.
I’ve been to this restaurant 4-5 times now and it’s always as great as I remember. Visiting Paris you don’t go looking for italics an restaurants,?but since my first visit I go back whenever I am in town. The lemon data with prosciutto is dreamy. Everything is superb and the people there are so gracious and welcoming. Highly recommended!
We were so impressed that we made a reservation for the following night!
Delicious Italian. As good as a great place in Italy. Cute, intimate, warm.
Amazing space, great location and incredible food. A must if you can find it!
This place is honestly incredible. They use the freshest ingredients to make amazing authentic Italian dishes. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. You honestly can’t order anything off this menu and go wrong.
The server was friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. I ordered the lobster fettuccine which was delicious but the fettuccine was not al dente enough. Overall, it was still enjoyable but pricier than what I expected,
The staff here is exceptional and the gnocchi as light as a cloud. Couldn’t recommend more highly!
Nothing like a great Italian meal in Paris. Everything was delicious and fresh Service was awesome
Really enjoyed our meal! Staff were very friendly and kindly translated for us. Food was rich and delicious and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. 10/10!
Great restaurant upstairs in an air-conditioned room holds about 20-25 people. We had great appetizers, main dish were pasta dishes and dessert was delicious. The 2 hostesses/servers were very friendly explained the menu in detail (the menu was in Italian). The food came at a perfect time with perfect intervals not too fast not to slow. A perfect dinner.
Best italian place in Paris
This was by far a highlight of our trip. The service was so attentive and the food was outstanding. We will be making this a regular stop every time we come back to Paris.
Delicious and charming, although, I would not call it the best value. We spent 150 Eu and left hungry.
Simply amazing, simply Italian! Top!
We have to wait one hour to get something to eat. It wasn’t good and for the same high price there a million better options in Paris
Cozy atmosphere, authentic food and friendly staff made for a wonderful first dinner in Paris.
