I usually trust tripadvisor reviews. The room is too small making for awkward seating arrangements. We were sat wedged between the entrance and door to kitchen. The restaurant was full which meant that the waiter was a busy body, going back and forth between the kitchen and tables at an incredible speed. This meant that the kitchen door was swinging open and closing - creating a highly aggravating bang - every 30-40 seconds. In a traditional Gallic fashion, both the waiter and chef came out to argue with me when i calmly pointed out that the opening and closing of the door at such frequency was making the dinner intolerable. But the waiter eventually made an effort to ensure the door did not slam on every occasion. The decor was also rather dated with cheesy colours and lighting. We had nowhere else to go given it was quite late so stayed the course. Thankfully the food was reasonably good. Overall, this was a rather unpleasant experience and i certainly would not go again.
