It was awesome. Food was prepared perfectly and we really love the service. I had the stew and it was cooked perfectly. The carrots were the best I have ever had.

We decided to go to L'Ilot Vache because suggested by the Lonely planet. The service has been super efficient and the food...amazing!! Try this restaurant if you would like to eat a good French cuisine - close to Le Mareis -with a relaxing atmosphere. Just one note: the tables were too close with each other and we have had the sensation to don't have space!

Went for dinner our last night in Paris before traveling home. We started with a bottle of wine and the escargot. The escargot was excellent, one of the best we've ever had. Our main courses, the duck confit and rack of lamb, were both delicious. The portions were very generous and sides were also very good. For dessert we split the creme brulee. The vanilla flavor was very pleasant but, not overpowering. The staff were very nice and attentive to us as well. We were glad we chose to finish our trip with a visit to L'Îlot Vache. Merci!

Ambiance was very interesting - beamed ceilings and beautiful floral arrangements.
We had the 39 euro dinner/ wonderful escargots, bœuf bourguignon, and 2 kinds of chocolate in the chocolate mousse.
A definite return!

Very disappointed in the quality and taste of both of our 3 course meals.
Wait staff spemt more time arguing with each other than taking care of customers.
Suggest that like the fact that no cows are on Isle Saint Louis, this restaurant should go away too.

If you want to be served by people who tells "People from this nationality are ""dégueulasse"" (Disgusting), thinking that you do not hear or do not understand their language, make sure you book for this place. I precise I am western european, business school professor, and was dining with my family (a lawyer and his wife). I think the three of us share enough of education to be acceptable guests for a restaurant like this one. Beware!

Loved the fresh flower arrangements on each table. It's a very small, cozy place so we did have to move our table/chairs abit to allow another table more room.
