We carefully selected this restaurant based on reviews, booked in advance as this was to be our premier dining experience in Rennes before moving on to the coast. We even checked earlier in the day that we would have an outside table, as this is a lovely street to take in the old town atmosphere. When we arrived we were told we were sitting indoors despite there being a table free. This was not acceptable to us, and they compromised by taking a table from the bar opposite and placing us on our own outside a closed down furniture shop. Very disappointing, as they made it seem like we were being awkward.

Bonsoir, nous avons compris votre déception et nous vous avons installé une table en extérieur très rapidement..il faisait très chaud et nous avons du sortir la quasi totalité des tables du restaurant pour satisfaire tous nos clients. .. La soirée s'est très bien passée,.

Friendly, delicious, and reasonably priced! Can’t beat that combo. We really enjoyed our evening and will definitely return. It’s fun to see the wood-fired grill from the table.
