The food was really very good and the location and atmosphere lovely. Loved having drinks on the veranda and ordering out there before going inside for dinner. Each course was explained and stood on its own and they were well conceived and executed. Overall though, the tasting menu was very expensive for what it was, especially since there was no beef. Also, the restaurant seemed to have some type of classification going on. Some patrons ordered outside on the terrace and some ordered inside. Some got additional bites on the terrace while we only got one set. Some had smaller menus and some had larger. Some of this might be because they were guests on a plan or something Iike that, but it seemed to create a differentiation.

Spectacular. The cuisine was superb,the staff were attentive but not overbearing and the setting was heavenly. The design of this gem of a restaurant was relaxing, and romantic and the table settings were unique and wonderful in their elegant eclectic manner.

We had another amazing meal and experience. Thank you for creating such a special evening. We had our first meal 19 years ago on our anniversary and tonight we shared it with our children for the second time.

Everything about this dining experience was exquisite and choreographed like a well orchestrated concerto. The food displayed great complexity and subtlety. The combinations of flavors were imaginative and complementary. The gardens were a lovely setting for an aperitif, scented with the blooming jasmine followed by a move into the main dining room, the tables spaced beautifully apart for private conversation, the atmosphere elegantly understated with the modern juxtaposed on the (seemingly) ancient. The staff never intruding but always anticipating your needs. A most memorable evening.
