We ordered 4 starters and 3 mains. The prawns were OK, but the other starters were very disappointing. The garlic bread was quite hard and cold. The veg soup was the worst soup I've ever had, as the texture was very watery. The penne was very, very chewy, so we had to eat around it. The swordfish was exceedingly salty, so we were confused and wondered if we had ordered salt fish?? The pizza was more than disappointing, as the sausage was extremely salty and placed on one spot inside the pizza . We had to take out the sausage and found some edible parts of the pizza.

Although we had booked and arrived on time, we had to wait sometime for a table. While the staff on duty tried hard to sort out tables the atmosphere was somewhat chaotic which resulted in us ordering just mains quickly as we had the theatre and eating quickly. The food was alright.

Our booking was for 5.30pm, we didn't get seated until 6pm and our food didn't arrive until 7pm, which meant we had to eat up quickly as we were going to the Theatre. There was a Manageress who didn't seem to be doing much work, whilst the staff were run ragged trying to work tables to get people seated. Also, this Manageress was quite happy to argue with a staff member in front of guests. Not very professional, very disappointing, won't be back. Such a shame. Made sure to praise the hardworking young lady on our way out though (fabulous lady of colour, with big bouncy curly hair, and a happy smile and attitude towards guests)

Visiting the place for my others half birthday. Took 20 mins to get a server to come and ask if we wanted any drinks then another 10 to bring 2 drinks ! Starters garlic bread I’ve had better at aldi and the calamari was ok. Mains Lasagne looked like it been warmed up in the microwave and was 4 days old ! The pizza I had for 18 quid had 4 slices of pepperoni on not the greatest. Even with the fork discount it was still overpriced 15 quid service charge for slow staff isn’t my ideal of fun

Nice restaurant, attentive staff but food was very poor. Mussels had no seasoning, I told waitress but it wasn't acknowledged. Rigatoni pasta was hard. Won't be coming back.

Food potions were very good however , we should have asked for a break in between courses as main course was practically served after they have taken our starter plates away! Next time we shall ask for 10 minutes to let the starter digest!

This is a very nice restaurant. I would have given it full marks if it hadn't been for there desserts. Was very disappointed to see that they were pre-made bought- in desserts and not freshly made in the restaurants

On our holiday in London and before visiting a show at the theatre next to the restaurant we chose l‘Ulivo Strand. The staff was friendly and the food ok. The pizza would have needed some more salt or seasoning; though salads as starters and burrata and beetroot were nice. Still the whole restaurant visit was kind of negatively influenced by the fact that it was cold and windy outside and our table was in front of the door that was constantly being opened by staff that had to serve people sitting outside ( despite the cold weather) or staff that had to communicate from the outside with inside staff member, giving us an uncomfortable feeling.

This restaurant is just beautiful, so clean and posh, think youre in a very expensive establishment. The food we had was so delicious, fresh andauthentic, The staff were all so friendly and helpful, I just love coming to Lulivo, you won't be disappointed.

I’ve been her before and it was lovely, but this time I was very disappointed the food was very mediocre and NOT CHEAP even with 20%off £48 for a glass of wine and 2 bowls of pasta!
