Amuse bouche and complimentary dessert drinks were the highlights. The tomato and anchovy tartares didn’t taste nice. Iberico pork main was ok but the accompanying potato not great. Seafood risotto was fine. We were also charged for 2 bottles of wine when we only had one. Silly me, I didn’t check the bill at the time. The experience did not match the €147 bill for two diners.

If you only eat at one restaurant in Malaga, eat at La Antxoeta. The chef/owner is a genius. the food is both beautiful and delicious and the staff is attentive and helpful. This was my third visit. Each time I have had the anchovies with caviar de tomate. Previously I thought that this was just a type of fish caviar but learned this time that it is a chef-prepared faux caviar, a sort of chemical magic where sundried tomatoes are seasoned and pureed and then dripped into ice-cold water with an eye dropper where they form perfect cariar-like shells. Amazing. And that is one small part of one dish!

Located in the heart of the Soho district it is our most favourite restaurant in Malaga. The ambience and menu is innovative and the food and service excellent.

Food was delicious. I was gutted I didn't order the tasting menu in advance but they went above and beyond to make my birthday night special and the food didn't disappoint. Carbonara squid was my favourite and the Crema Catalan was so light. Loved it. Would definitely go back.

Everything was exceptional and delicious except for one dish: risotto with mushrooms and octopus. It was a bit strange, the taste was nothing of mushrooms or seafood, all you could taste was oil and smoked paprika.

Long story short. After a search over tripadvisor found this little restaurant and I booked with Google maps, which sent me trough the fork app. Been in UK, I booked for a birthday dinner, so I’ve got no idea about the food menu. After we’ve got the menu well presented, my wife choose octopus risotto and I pick the Angus beef. When the gentlemen bring us the food, he also explain us what’s in the plate. Beside the services, the food been extraordinary. I have also pick up the restaurant over the reviews so I’ve also choose to let one. Everything very tasty and cosy. And yet again 5 star or 10/10 rating for service.

We had a very nice dinner here, which I booked in advance (probably recommended, as it's pretty small). Nice cosy atmosphere, feels very personal, or of a personal taste. I'd suggest reconsidering the chairs, as they looked a bit shabby, other than that, I really liked the interior, although not polished. Both starters we had, Sardines and tuna, were amazing: loved how they looked, beautiful serving, and great in taste. Both mains, Bass filet and scallops, were nice, not as beautiful or exciting as the mains, but we were still so happy about the starters that we didn't mind. For dessert, we shared the pavlova, which was different, not easy to eat, but good. Service was friendly, a bit more casual than expected, but fine. Only thing I was a bit surprised by was that we were charged extra for asking more bread (4 buns in total instead of 2, charged 2,50€ per bun - without being informed in advance) however, they invited us for 2 glasses of bubbly wine, as we celebrated birthday...olive oil was very good, in retrospective I'd buy a bottle at the end of dinner...

The starters are excellent, but the main courses are nowhere near as good.

Best meal we had in Spain- must eat! Sea Urchin risotto and gnocchi with Iberian pork were favorites. Attention to service was impeccable and incredibly personal.

A truly hidden gem in the “center”. The place is small, with just a few tables so make sure to make reservations. Beautifully decorated, small creative menu performed with excellence. The service was very polite and close, wine options were exquisite, and the food…oh, just try it. I think I had dreams with the cod.

This was the 2nd time we went in a week. We were as happy this time as we were the 1st time. The food is full of flavour. Can't say we've been anywhere better. I wish we lived locally. We'd go all the time if we could.

A true hidden gem. The food, the presentation, the service, the ambience, everything is worthy of a Michelin star. I wish they would move near me in England.
