Super place. A proper traditional completely family-run restaurant. All of the fish is fresh and most of it local. Excellent wine too! Definitely worth a return trip.

We had a wonderful family dinner here. The food quality was good so everyone ate their entire plate, portion size was good as well. Best of all was the service, we were feeling welcome all the time and everything was explained so well to us, especially local recommendations.

Yesterday we visited the restaurant for the second time and it was fabulous. Esteban is a great host and makes you feel at home. The food was again fresh and cooked very well. So we had a very pleasent evening for our 40th wedding anniversary. Totally recommended

Very kind staff. fresh products and pleasant ambience. Prices are reasonable and the amount of food is good. Mainly fish dishes all fresh from local fisherman. The owner treats the customers like family. We will come again.

Our experience at La Ballena Azul was excellent. We were greeted by Stephan who explained us about the family restaurant, his wife who was in the kitchen and the menu filled only with the freshest and purest of ingredients. He helped us pick a great Rosé from Granada that paired extremely well with our (amazing) tuna steak. He surprised us with a free extra starter and a liqueur and limoncello from the region. All in all, incredible service, delicious fresh and pure food and all for a great price. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area and I completely understand why it is the #1 restaurant in the region. Thanks again La Ballena Azul. We had a wonderful time!

The word is quality abd very very friendly service. I had Tuna steak that was perfect! Not fried to long, absolutely 5 star. The wine recomended was light, dry and fresh. I will defenitely come back! /Sam

that service was excellent our waitress was exceptional. the food was also very good. we had tomato and avocado to start, seafood soup, very tasty and packed with seafood and then we had a mixed grilled fish platter which was both large and good. we will definitely be going again
