Fine place to eat, modern and interesting seasonings. Would go there again.
Nice little restaurant by the sea. Good quality dishes at moderate prices. There is quite a good variety not just seafood. It was nice that the chef himself came to the tables at the end.
We had a lovely meal at La Bisquine, the menu was partly in English so ordering was easy. The quality of the food and presentation was excellent and we will definitely return when revisiting St Vaast La Hougue????
Best restaurant in St Vaast, we are so lucky to have them! I've never had a bad meal here, always great food perfectly cooked, with really interesting twists on local cuisine. Don't miss it!
Super petit resto, on recommande vivement !!
Wonderful welcome and great food. Perfect.
Excellent setting, food and service
Amazing restaurant and the chef and his wife were so friendly and loving. Can’t wait to go back.
Excellent food, carefully prepared and beautifully presented.
The food was delicious and the service and staff exceptionel.
Great food, the welcome was very friendly and heartfelt, pleased we booked as it filled up quickly. Have I mentioned the great food?
Wonderful authentic Fish and Seafood restaurant. Ate our meal of Mussells with fries, Whole crab and Fish soup overlooking the harbour. It doesn’t get better than this!
Our first dining experience in Normandy - staying in Valognes and at the suggestion of the owner of our B&B - made our way to Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue. Found la Bisquine on TA and booked an early table. An hour after we arrived the restaurant was full of locals and visitors. The staff were either bilingual or patient with elementary French and the food was amazing. Local oysters were delicious and as we were sitting - local teenagers could be seen in wetsuits going out for their own harvest. We ate leisurely and enjoyed dessert and an aperitif - average €40/person including a bottle of wine was very reasonable and well worth a stop.
Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. Everything was really good. The staff were lovely and friendly and showed great attention to our satisfaction. My wife said the mussels were the best she had ever had!!! My steak was fantastically done and the kids really enjoyed their consflake chicken. The finale of apricot crepe brûlée though...................simply amazing, the apricots must have been soaked in liquid from heaven!!!
The food was lovely, freshly prepared and well presented. The staff were friendly. We had booked via the fork, but they hadn’t a reservation for us even though they had confirmed by email that afternoon. I suspect they had got my name wrong as their was a table for ‘Chelia’, anyway it wasn’t a problem as we were eating earliy and they found us another table straight away. The restaurant was very busy (Monday)
Good quality fresh food and friendly attentive service. A lovely lunch with my wife, thank you.
Lovely food and good service.
