Our reservation with The Fork was made for 7:30pm but the restaurant didn’t actually open until 8pm. However it wasn’t too much of a problem as our hotel was a couple of doors down, so we were able to wait and return a little later. We were four adults who chose rolled pork, stuffed with cheese and ham and fried (x2), fried chicken pieces and pigs cheek. The rolled pork portions were huge, big enough to share. The chicken pieces were small, some with bones, but there were lots of them and were delicious. The pigs cheek portion again very large, arrived cold in the middle, but was reheated without issue and tasted great. It was a very busy evening, with numerous people waiting for tables still taken and the poor servers were rushed off their feet. It appeared they also had to deal with a few miserable customers seemingly without reason, so they had a lot to contend with but they remained cheerful and courteous, always smiling. A lovely restaurant offering traditional cuisine in a busy street lined with eateries all vying for business. Great value and very enjoyable.
