The restaurant was lovely with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. My daughter and I are vegetarian, and we both loved the vegetarian risotto. The mixed plate of deserts was very good. This was our first French restaurant and it was all cooked to perfection. The server/waiter was very helpful explaining the dishes and informing us of what food was vegetarian. We could here and see other diners eating meat and very much enjoying it too. Great food, great service, intimate restaurant with an authentic atmosphere. 10/10 for sure!
Lovely little restaurant. Great food and service. Relatively cheap considering the quality of the restaurant. Highly recommend this place!
The host was really kind. I really appreciate it. The food was close to fusion
Loved the food and the setting, one of the best surprises of our trip!
I like it
We stopped in for lunch, and immediately were overcome with an amazing aroma coming from the kitchen - some type of meat was on the menu, and I knew what I was getting. We got seated immediately by a very pleasant server, who patiently endured my broken French before politely clarifying a few things on the menu in English. Simply put, it was the best meal we had during our entire Paris stay. I started with what was described as “carrot soup” on the English menu, which translates to “Veloute de carotte” on the French menu - let me just say, calling this simply “carrot soup” is a crime. Followed this with “Onglet de boeuf, sauce food gras” which is what was contributing the amazing aroma upon arrival - delicious! My wife ordered the “fillet de lieu Chou fleur de sauge” a pollack in a creamy sage sauce- she loved it! We would definitely go back, next time for dinner. By all means, go there!
We made reservations for lunch on a recommendation from an online search for non-touristy places in Montmartre and it did not disappoint! Great service, good prices, and delicious food!
The waiters were very warm and helpful with our inability to speak French. Ambiance was terrific. Thanks!
Our favorite restaurant in Paris! Always the best food, service and great atmosphere. Terrific neighborhood gem that's worth the trip every time.
Amazing little restaurant in Montmartre. Food was incredible and staff attentive, kind and very enthusiastic. Boris our waiter went far and beyond to explain every single dish. The dishes were full of flavor and fresh ingredients. Definitely recommend!
It was a 2.5 km walk from my hotel and I decided to walk it , not realising that there was almost a 1.5 km steep climb . Which is good as I built up an appetite . For the food they serve is absolutely delicious . I need to go back to try the other items in the menu . Importantly , the wines served ( I took a glass of white and one of red ) were way beyond what I would expect if I buy by the glass . No hesitation in recommending this place hidden away on Monmarte Hill .
The staff were cheerful, very helpful with just the right degree of attentiveness. It was full at lunchtime with a brisk but relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. Authentic French restaurant. Small imaginative menu with tasty, well prepared and not too fancy cuisine. The steak with foie gras sauce and fried potatoes was simply excellent. This small restaurant with only about 25-30 covers still had 30 wines on the wine list.
Really cute place a bit short of space but nothing to be afraid of if you make a reservation.
Excellent Quality of food and our waiter was super helpful explaining the menu
Excellent food and amazing service!
We booked 3 weeks ahead: most necessary as many walk-ins were declined. We speak French so we ordered right away from the board. We noted the staff patiently describing every dish on the short menu (4 entrees+4Mains+4 deserts) in English to those who could not read French: Concise job. Great selection options: You can choose 1 dish, 2 dishes or 3 dishes "formule". For the 2 of us, we opted for Entrée+Main and Main+Desert: this 25 Euros "formule" was highly sufficient. We had Cold Veloute d'haricot rouge (Cold red bean soup) which was apt on a torrid "Canicule" day, Onglet de Boeuf (Beef) in Foie Gras sauce and Filet de Lieu (Fish) in Tomato Butter sauce and Fraisier (Strawberry tart). All superbly cooked & presented. This was the final dinner on a month-long travel across the Netherlands, Italy and Germany and it was the BEST: For equivalent (or lower) prices, French cuisine delivers better products, cooking and presentation finesse.
We loved this charming restaurant! Amazing food and friendly service. I wish we could go back!
Small local gem restaurant. Relaxing decent food. Staff was friendly and relaxing
