The place is lovely but food is not very good
La Bottega is pretty nice, but nothing super special. The food is okay, but could use a bit more flavor in all of the dishes (a bit of salt, or pepper or garlic in the vegetables, as advertised, a bit more flavor in the sauces). The pasta is fresh, and the beef is tender. Service is good, very friendly, but they get busy quick and then it feels a bit stressful in the dinning room. Not sure if the kitchen is the same, but dishes do come out fairly slow. We have been back as it is close to home, and we would go back again. just many other places that have better food for the same price.
Charming little neighborhood spot. We were surprised with negative comments we had read. NOT TRUE. The food was outstanding, the prices reasonable and the ambiance perfect. We will go back again. Wait staff worked well together, everyone pitching in to help.
Great food and good service. A nice small, but diverse menu. Great quality vegetables in the salads and dishes, and beautiful homemade ravioli.
Food was exceptional! Staff very helpful and attentive.
Delicious dinner with attentive service. Hope to eat here again.
A poor restaurant. We got our maincourse before we had ended our first course. Quality of food was poor, waiters was running in chaos. Never again!
We were looking for somewhere to eat near our hotel. La Bottega Ristorante Punturi was one we had walked past numerous times so we thought we would give it a go. We booked online, it was really easy. Although we booked just 60 minutes befor our reservation, the very friendly staff new our name as we entered. We were seated with no problem, although it was relitively quiet at the time we chose. The restaurant was very clean, something we notice! The staff were attentive without being overbearing. The two courses came in good time with not too long between and the food was fantastic! I would definitely recommend.
Fantastic meal. The food and wine were excellent would certainly visit again
Very welcoming. Good food and wine.
We dined at the restaurant on New Year's Eve. We chose the restaurant because there were options other than a price fix menu, and with two children the price fixed option would not have been ideal. My wife and I did have the price fix, which was a wonderful and extravagant eight course meal. I thought the price was very reasonable for the quality and amount of food. Individual portions were appropriate, but eight courses was a lot of food. Everything was top notch. Our waiter spoke good English and was friendly. The menu options were limited, but that was due to the holiday event. I would certainly return to this restaurant again.
This was exactly what we were looking for. It was my wife's first visit to Rome and first night in the city. We were just looking for an easy option for dinner and found this gem. Cheese, olive oil, flowing wine and amazing pasta dishes was exactly what the dr. ordered and what we found! We will certainly be back and highly recommend a visit.
High quality food in a very warm atmosphere, at reasonable price. The carbonara were delicious.m, as well as the wine.
The food is ok. Although the starters are disapointing! The desserts were amazing! The staff is very helpfull and the restaurant is beautyfull!
This resto offers a refreshing take of the typical Roman menu. Plus, the owner and his mom see to it that everything is spotless and in place. Worthy of your visit!
