Loved the food, the restaurant is beautiful.. but no music, and since we went on a Sunday and were the only table, some easy listening music would have been nice. Wine list needs to be updated, they could offer one or two better options by the bottle. Overall it was a very nice dinner.
Small, inviting place for lunch. They specialize, apparently, in dishes using exotic spices. I had a veal stew, which was delicious. Good wine, reasonable prices for this part of town. At least some of the staff can speak English. I would go back.
The food was great (we had shrimp wok) and the service really nice. The ambient is cozy. Really great place to eat something else.
Food unexpectedly good. The service was polite. The lighting a bit too strong.
Excellent service and excellent food. They just lack vegetarian varieties otherwise it’s all good.
The food and service was excellent
Food was delicious- all three courses very tasty. Service however was exceptionally slow.
wonderful lunch, even if quick as it was the first time out with our newborn. excellent confit de canard that we both ate, very nice entree of the day with morille mushrooms that are in season. we particularly appreciated the staff's efforts on accommodating our stroller so that the little one could be close to us. we recommend!
The food was good but nothing “wow”. The restaurant is too big, and it was too crowded and noisy, so if you are looking for something more intimate, this is not the place to go. We ordered the saumon tartare as a starter (well... it was ok....), the cod fish and duck as a main dish (they were good, the duck specially) and as a dessert the crepe (i dont recommend, it was kind of tasteless). The servers were polite. It wasn’t bad, but I would’t go back.
The service was the worst I have had in Paris so far. Regardless of the fact that I have made this booking well in advance, and have called 2hrs before to confirm the booking, we stood outside the restaurant for about 20 mins before being tended to. The restaurant was really not that full or busy. The bill was a complete mess and had to be re-done three times before it was accurate. There was another table that had gotten up halfway through their meal screaming and shouting at the staff - not pleasant. We were four people, the one person ordered duck, it arrived at the end of our meals - no apology was given. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant.
Nice service even though the restaurant was full. The dinner was nice but some dishes were under the expectations. Nice place and atmosphere also for couples.
Nice atmosphere, attentive staff, good food. A good find.
Happy to discover this place! Very friendly and casual ambiance, clean and a great room with old walls and maps of the world. I had the daily special (red mullet with leek and curry sauce) plus a dessert of 3 different crème brûlées. Good food and good price/value! Will come back when I‘m in Paris.
It's not my first time here and, as usual I was really satisfied! Cozy place, welcoming staff and good kitchen! Without the The Fork discount it can be a little expansive, thought, but the area is very chic!
Good value for money
The food was really good and the staff was courteous and efficient. Would definitely come again!
One of my favorite spot in Paris!
Very slow service, and unprofessional servers. We were keft with a "bad taste" from this restaurant.

"The restaurant La Boussole welcomes you in its stonewall room and beamed ceilings.
On the road to the spices from the East to the West, from North to South, during our trips, La Boussole has brought back unexploited flavors home: Tonka beans, Sarawak pepper, Raz-el-Hanouts... contributing to reinvent traditional cuisine.
In the image of spices, this warm and atypical place will inspire you with a breath of exoticism."
