Very nice authentic Belgium “moules et frites” for those who are looking for non touristic places !!! Food was very good but the service was missing some tact ... The menu was not giving to us so we had to ask for prices and the beverages were not taken for all the table we had to go to order them from the counter!! Beside this, a nice experience:)
Really good fish food and very polite owners. I will surely go again.
nice place, friendly service, good food
As always dishes of high quality, well prepared and served. Wine was also great! I suggest it without a doubt!
Cozy atmosphere . Service is as if your mom brought you personally to eat :)
Excellent, good quality blend between Belgian and Greek food. Everything is fresh, prepared on the spot and very tasty, yet simply dressed. Four of us shared a selection of yummy starters and a gigantic, perfectly grilled sea bass. . Healthy and yummy. Good selection of Greek wines but the traditional French wines are also available. The owner of the restaurant is the main guy in charge of service and is great: fun, great humor, attentive, recommends dishes and wines. In short, he really loves what he does and cares for the customer. Prices are a little on the high side but totally worth it
A lovely seafood restaurant. The food was fresh and tasty. Great service.
Gambas congelées!! Risotto pauvre en fruit de mer
A nice Restaurant a little bit of from the city center. It is worth the 10 min walk from Grand Place. The owners are greek and they serve Both greek and belgian specialties. Food was very good and service really friendly. Both the idag and the mest was very good!
I had fish soup and the signature dish, grilled squid. The soup was a little salty but very delicious. The squid was also very nice with the taste of the squid well brought out.
Great place, super friendly and flexible service, setting up a table outside. Great quality and ingredients. Nice experience and an all-time favourite.
The service was really nice and the personel made me feel confortable even though I was on my own. The food was great and the portions more than generous. The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't asked if I wanted any dessert or coffee after my main (maybe because I wasn't able to finish it as it was just too big for me). All in all a really lovely experienece!
Such a disappointment on this, my second visit. First time, on a week night last Feb, everything had been high quality. The home made shrimp croquettes that time in particular had been lovely. I was really looking forward to ordering them again. The ones served last Saturday were from a supermarket freezer: identical in shape, cheap filling, garish colour. Nothing like the real thing. 14 euro. Massive let down. Unforgivable. The sort of 'tourist' thing for which many of the restaurants on petite rue des Bouchers are notorious. The wine failed to appear until we had finished the first course. It happens. The main dishes were ok, but nothing special. Finally, there was a mix-up over the bill: initially I was charged twice for the wine that had failed to arrive in time. Based solely on my first visit, I would have warmly recommended this place; on Saturday's evidence, I will not be returning and would not recommend it at all.
Great lamb, limited wine list, friendly service
The service is very welcoming family owened. Food was good: lamb and steake. Small but cozy restaurant
Really good food in a cosy restaurant with a familly feel to it.
Good cooking of classic food but slightly overpriced, particularly the wine. Dependable but a little dull. Nice traditional Belgian decor
Charming eatery in a lovely strip of eateries. Quant interior, nice outdoor seating, too. Simple yet intocing menu. We had (off season) mussels which were divine, and the frites and mayo were outstanding. Lobster bisque was very savory - less buttery and creamy than what I've enjoyed in the US, but it's own special taste. Loved the croutons and skorthalia on the side. Grilled squid was spot-on! My wife and I ate and drank quite well for 90 pounds!
Nice and tasty place. The food is good and fresh and prices are fare
Everything was great!
