Excellent
Carne ottima!
We ate here on Christmas Day so there was a special multi-course menu at 40 Euros which included a bottle of house wine. The food was very good and the staff was wonderful. We will return for a regular meal.
Very welcoming especially as we arrived an hour early.
Great tiny family run kucthen
Not your typical pizza and pasta. Wonderful beef stew and bean soup. Delicious tiramisu. Great wine. All begun with Prosecco and ended with limoncello.
Amazing food and service
Every dish we had was amazing and delicious. We were very well received by the personal and personally greeted by the chef. 5/5. would eat again.
Whilst the staff were great we were not asked our name for our reservation and had to wait for our table to be set. The grilled lamb was similat lamb off cuts back home but needed a steak knife to cut through the larger pieces. My pici duck pasta had sauce that swamped the duck but perhaps that was the Italian way of doing it; stil tasty and el dente. The tiramasu however was terrific. The complimentary prosecco and limoncello were a nice touch.
Our dinner at Antonio Porrati was among the best meals of my entire life. The steak was other worldly but we were sent here because we heard the Peposo was to die for. And it was! The food was as exceptional as the service. Our server Sarah was a gem among people and we were fortunate to spend some time with the owner—because he took the time to speak to us. If you are looking for authentic food with genuine people you must go here. Thank you again to the wonderful team!
Great people and ingredients but salty meat and very alow service even if very pleasant people.
The food was exceptional but the service was unbelievably slow. It was such a shame. We were seated outside and only realised as we walked out that the main restaurant was packed. With Italians. Again it was such a shame. I felt very sorry for the one waitress.
Antonio was delightful and helped us converse in Italian. The food was simply done and wonderful.
There are thre eating areas in this little restaurant, which specialises in open wood fired cooking. We arrived and were put into the “cooking” room and were initially on our own, which was rather bleak. When others arrived the atmosphere improved. The food is copious and well cooked; the dish to go for is the steak option. We ordered two mains, which was far too much. A nice little restaurant with friendly staff and very pleasing food.
really good quality of the food
