8/10La Chiostrina at the Bernini Palace Hotel offers a charming dining experience. The food was above average overall—we had the ravioli, and the pesto pasta which were both decent, and we also had the fillet and charcuterie plate, both just ok but not remarkable. The bread and olive oil was really good. The real highlight was the wine; the Franciacorta was excellent and definitely stood out. Pricing was very reasonable and because we reserved on line with The Fork App we received 20% off the food. I’d go back for the wine and ambiance, and perhaps to explore more of the menu. Our waiter, Franco was attentive and very professional.

10/10Very pleasant restaurant in hotel. Wonderful service from knowledgeable and very professional maitre d. Extras with no charge included bread, amuse bouche and Moscati D’Asti when we shared a Millefoglie. A really great fillet steak was the highlight of an excellent meal. Very extensive wine list but starting prices from 20 euro. It is in the Bernini Palace Hotel . We were surprised it was not more widely advertised.

9.5/10We made a last minute reservation here without a lot of expectations, but what we discovered was delicious food and attentive, high level service…a fine dining experience worth returning. Excellent!

10/10We were the only people in the restaurant which was good for us because we had private service. Everyone was outside dining in the cool evening. The meal was absolutely fabulous the wine very good. Our service was impeccable we had a wonderful time

5/10Half of the dishes were ok, the other mediocre. Considering the prices, which are on the higher end, the quality was not sufficient. The avocado in the salmon was dark, the pasta overcooked and with watery sauces, dessert was more of a sticky cupcake then panetone, covered with crema pasticcera with very uneven structure, as if done from instant dose and not cooked. The nice ambiance on the picture is the hotel bar. The restaurant is in the back, very bland, no atmosphere, with a row of tables next to the wall in something like corridor, looking at the service tables and fridges and looks like the breakfast space of a medium class hotel and not a restaurant in a five-star historical building.

8/10It wasn’t what I expected, the restaurant was still closed and we ate at the bar in the lobby. It was very quit, and it was a small menu. But the food was nice and the staff very friendly and even took the time to show us around

10/10This was our best meal in Florence! The chef is creative with the traditional Tuscan menu, the salads were excellent, the pastas were delicious and so was the chicken. Loved the tiramisu for dessert!

8.5/10Everything was great except the music that was being played. There was a rap song expressing vulgarity of which I brought to the attention of the employees, but all I was told that it was a change made not long ago. It’s a real shame because it ruined dinner. I know one regrettably heard vulgar language on a regular basis in public but it’s something I shouldn’t have to hear at dinner as entertainment.
