Great display of local ingredients in a short but perfect menu. The cream of lentils with morrels as a starter was absolutely perfect. We ordered most of the main courses on the menu; none has disappointed. The portions are very large but one needs to leave room for the cheese trolley! The desserts were very nice too. Delicious evening, wonderful welcoming (the chef came by a few times too). The place was full and buzzing. We loved it

We found the restaurant in the "Bib Gourmand" and it was wonderful. From the moment we walked in to when we left 3.5 hours later, La Cognette was a treat. The staff is delightfully attentive and Chef attends to his guests throughout the evening, explaining about the food you're enjoying. We had Chef's tasting menu and it was superb. The wine list is extensive and affordable. We will certainly come back on our drives to the South of France.

Excellent dinner and really attentive staff with the chef coming in to chat at the end - a reminder of how a really classic restaurant can treat their clients. A fantastic sorbet with sugar work to end the dinner will remain in the memory for a long time!
