Remarkably inventive, precise execution, freshest of products, all made for an original, flavorful, excellent dinner.bravo to the chef and his team..
A refaire et je recommence !!
I wish they mention in their official site, no 4 courses set dinner on Fri & Sat(only 6 courses available). If I knew, I won’t have eaten a big lunch and maybe I would have enjoy my dinner more.
We had the 6 course set menu and the food was great, well executed but interesting, with lovey matching wines. Charming service, all round great meal.
Excellent restaurant !!!
We had the 3 course lunch menu, which was complemented by 3 additional small surprise offerings. The quality was extreme to the nth degree, with some of the presentations being exquisite. All the dishes were delicious. We happed to also have the wine pairing and we wished we could have gotten the attention of our server to order more wine with our main dish of pork belly and fregola sarda. The Morgan was a perfect pairing but the half glass didn’t last long. Next time I would forgo the wine pairing as only half glasses are provided and the timing is not ideal.
Very disappointing; we expected some originality given the chef's background. Instead, we had a very average series of contemporary bland dishes, nicely plated, but handicapped by a repeated theme of "soft white things"; chevre creams, foams, purees, mousselines in almost every dish. It left the palate fatigued and unengaged. An overly sweet pear sorbet in daikon espuma in the first main dish struck a very off-putting note early in the meal. The final protein dish was a remarkably ordinary chicken, a bit of a let down for this price point (€90 for six course menu). The menu is chosen by the chef, but one is not informed about the exact dishes until they appear which makes choosing a wine difficult. Although our server did say seafood was prominent, she had no trouble directing us to an overpriced Priorat that was average at best. Service was polite, but with just a touch of condescension, despite one of us being very fluent in French. We left full, but unsatisfied.
Over priced, lack lustre, no menu choice and over bearing service
Nice little place and very friendly and professional service. Dishes are clean and well executed. Some nice things but not awesome. Food and wine pairing is a bit disappointing (5 white wines straight). Overall a little overpriced and overrated, 4 courses meal both worth 125€/person (wines included) wouldn’t recommend it thought the atmosphere is cosy.
Superb meal beyond our expectations. The dishes were refined and yet very creative; the flavors surprising and new. Apart from the food, the wine pairings were great. Their sommelier is very good. My partner and I wanted to stand up and clap after our meal.
Strikes a rare combination of being both inventive and utterly delicious. A revelation of what can be done with ingredients.
The food was a feast both visually and gastronomically. We absolutely loved all the dishes. The service was attentive and friendly, would totally come back!
Go there quickly before it is impossible to book. This Chef is so so talented but above all, he meets and greets all his guests and he is so humble. A star is born.
Absolutely delicious and inventive. Excellent wine pairing. I wish I could buy the wines that were served. It was hot inside, but this is common in Paris; we’re just not accustomed to it being from USA. But the food was an 11 on a scale 1 to 10. Service was very kind, even to my son who at 9 finds a two hour long dinner difficult.
Une belle decouverte!
We loved every course comprised of interesting and fresh flavors and products.
It was really a nice touch for the Chef to greet us (and all other guests) personally. He shared his experiences and that made the meal more personal. The food was inventive and overall the dishes well balanced. We had the wine pairing 6 courses. It was a lovely evening.
One word: excellent! .... I must admit ... the mackerel starter didn’t do it for me 100% .... but afterwards it got increasingly crescendo! Very refined presentations, great display of technical skills and most important of all .... wonderful delicious combinations! During the evening we travelled past nettle purée, a foie gras with fennel, caramelized cedro spiced broth and not to forget a fantastic piece of duck. My only complaint ... some portions I wished would have been bigger :))) ... but this is not a complaint for real .. as you will leave the restaurant perfectly satisfied and full. The team is young and it is wonderful that the chef himself (all chefs actually) comes out to talk to you and explain the dishes. His enthusiasm is enticing!
