A lovely restaurant with great ambience, really engaged and helpful staff and fantastic food. The pace of the meal was superb -- plenty of time to digest and talk but not the kind of gaps where you are left wondering if the food is coming -- really perfect because the staff were contantly attentive without being obtrusive. The staff were helpful and friendly and very professional. The food was excellent. We had different starters, main courses and shared a dessert and everything was exceellent. The wine was superb and helped in our choice by very good recommendation. We were in Chartres for only a few days and at the end of this meal booked to return for our last evening.

Definitely a nice place for a casual lunch. Very nice setting and service. Food was excellent too, outstanding desserts for a brasserie. Chocolate lovers will fall for the tartelette chocolat grand cru. à la carte 10-15 % overpriced, menu of the day is a fair deal. An overall very good moment.

Very pleasant restaurant in a nice setting, friendly staff and very good food at a reasonable price. Some dishes were better than others but overall a very satisfying meal.

Geweldig restaurant met perfecte service. Het dessert soufflé Grand Marnier was een absoluut hoogtepunt. Moet wel gelijk besteld worden.

The best starter I have ever had! It rivalled many 3 etoiles - white asparagus with a fresh herb vinaigrette on a bed of creme brulee with slivers of parlesan - magic! Our waiter was attentive and friendly and had perfect "timing". I opted for the salade folle with grilled veg for main course, which was delicious ....and copious. My partner had the plat detox which he really enjoyed - a good matching of flavours. The wine list is quite short, but you can ask for the wine list from the other restaurant if nothing on the short list appeals. We didn't consult it, but I expect that it is a lot more expensive.
