Sitio agradable y tranquilo con buen servicio y comida notable. Especialistas en arroces.
Excelente lugar para comer
Great food location and service. Recommended.
I don't understand why this is not the best rated restaurant in barcelona. This was a huge surprise considering that you find a lot of tourist traps nearby but this one is really special. We went for lunch and were welcomed by "Angelo" who showed us to a table for two by the window upstairs. What a special place! the decoration is very chic, you feel a sense of calmness sitting in this restaurant. The staff is extremely professional and are all smiles. Our waiter "Luis" should get a medal for best waiter in Spain really, he was nice, he pays attention to details, attentionate and with a contagious smile! Then, there's the food: we tried the tortilla (very tasty), the gambas with garlic (very good) and the paella (arrós cuina de laeitana) AMAZING!! By far the best paella I've had in quite sometime! For desserts, we had the crema catalana which I adored and the tiramisu. The tiramisu would've been perfect if the lady fingers were dipped a little longer in espresso (they were a little bit dry in the middle) and the mascarpone should be less runny. You really need to go visit this restaurant, it's a hardworking crew that should be congratulated for what they do!
The food was good but not great. The ingredients were very fresh but seemed to lack seasoning (not salt). We wish it had more seafood instead of so much rice. Therefore we did not feel it was a good value. The atmosphere was very nice though. It was quiet and conversational for a change. The waiters(2) were very busy so we didn’t necessarily interact with them that much.
La camarera genial de 10
Paella was bland, had little seafood in the rice, and cost 40 euro for 2 people.
Menú bo i suficient. Be de preu. Repetiré.
The tapas were delicious. We had deep fried squid rings, fries, crocetes with ham and olives. Sizes were good, the olives were a little bit monotone because they were all pickled in the same vinegar marinade but still good. The paella was a big portion with chicken, pork ribs, squid, mussles and shrimp. All the seafood was ok. The ribs and the chicken was so so. Too dry in our eyes and lower quality. The rice was all dente and well spiced. For desert we had crema catalan wich was very tasty. It was a clean restaurant with attentive waiters and nice atmosphere. Definitely a place where you can have dinner.
We arrived on time for our reservation but they were not open yet. Couldnt find our reservation. Waiter seemed a bit off his game and flustered tgat i showed him a reservation he couldnt find. We were two of four people there-it shouldnt have mattered. Wine was delicious. Patatas bravas were awesome! Paella was dreadful. It was brown, tasted like plain rice cooked in fish stock without even a hint of saffron to be found. Wed been here previously, but were sorely disappointed tonight.
Very homey, good food, great service! Do not miss!
A cozy small restaurant along Via Laietena. Don't be shunned by the appearance of a touristic trap. It offers a good selection of tasty tapas, and juicy rice dishes, accompanied with a discrete selection of wines. The (only) waitress was super-efficient and nice.
it was so good.
Great experience in this central Barcelona's restaurant. Excellent service, Good quality-price balance and delicious typical catalan meals. Thank you.
