Excellent
Beautiful spot and terrace, excellent food and wine.
This is a wonderfully located restaurant at the Fontenille winery. The food is presented in a tapas style intended to be shared with your partner. The dishes are creative and well presented. I recommend this experience for anyone in the area.
Very happy with this restaurant. Food quality is high for the price point. Service is relaxed yet precise, original dishes, nice atmosphere. We had a really good time.
A Recommander
Very nice restaurant, the view and the food were amazing. but What was somehow disappointing was that we had a reservation for 2pm for lunch and the first thing we were told is to hurry up because kitchen closes at 2pm. That was not what we expected.
We chose this place as Michelin’s Bib Gourmand is usually a good sign. Inside a sizeable hotel, but the phone rang endlessly when we call ahead running bag slightly late. Welcome was distracted - no lamp on table, waitress didn’t notice when the one we requested wasn’t working, so we gave up. My husband knocked over his glass of water and soaked the table - no one noticed. Small plates were overly complicated: far too much going on in each one, adding up to an incompatible jumble overall. Flavours all over the place - no balance, overdone or underdone, no happy medium: completely tasteless brandade, ridiculously garlicky bruschetta, “Asian” beef which no one from the entire continent would recognise, with a bizarre mint pesto. A first: our teenage son had no interest in dessert. There were grilled meats on the menu, but they seemed strangely overpriced: 35 euros for 300g of lamb chops. The setting overlooking the gardens was pretty, The ingredients were fine, the problem was what was done with them. On the plus side, it wasn’t expensive.
Beautiful location with breathtaking views, lovely service and food. Highly recommended.
We booked through this sight but the restaurant had no record of us. They were closing the kitchen and were pushed to order. The food was delicious and on a regular day it would be a beautiful setting. However today was incredibly windy to the point that our wine glasses were blowing off the table. Our friends bread actually blew off the plate.

Interesting dishes in magnificent setting.
The food and the service were just inadequate for the expectation. The menu was inconsistent and the execution of it was poor. Dishes were under-seasoned not cohesive. The service was friendly but inexperienced. 3 of our 5 dishes came out in under 10 minutes and the other 2 came out before we were even finished with our 3 dishes. The waiter never even tried to talk to us until we got our bill. It was a bad restaurant experience.
