An absolute delightful experience. Service and food was excellent. Prices were very reasonable. Food is all freshly bought and prepared that day. We got the 3 course "surprise" chef's choice. It was delicious. Each dish was explain in detail by the server. We'll go again and again.

This restaurant is built into a 16th century street. Chef surprise is 32 euros 3 courses. You tell the waitress what you do not like and what you do like. Then you get the food! AMAZING..a creme brulee taste before starter, then shaved lobster with tiny black lentils with toasted pine nuts, main course of pork tenderloin fillets with red cabbage with crushed nuts and truffled carrot mousse. For dessert lavender creme brulee, wow! Owned and operated by chef and his lovely wife! Awesome!

We loved this meal. The setting was beautiful and romantic, including a candle and vintage glasses. The menu was limited in options but every bit was delicious and handcrafted. We especially loved the creme brulee and risotto. Additionally, the team that runs this restaurant couldn't have bee nicer. Go here!!!

La Cuisine Du Dimanche was an amazing dining experience. The service was cordial and attentive and the food was outstanding. My only regret is that I did not get the chance to dine here for dinner before leaving Avignon.

We were delighted with our experience at La Cuisine du Dimanche. The service was friendly, patient with our limited French, and efficient, and we were so pleased to have the chef visit our table to explain his delicious creation. The fish (sea bream) and duck preparations were so very tasty and artfully presented. The beet appetizer was an incredibly creative melange of various preparations of beets that were just amazing! Merci beaucoup!

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at this lovely little restaurant. We both had the duck which was fabulous. The chef came out after dinner to discuss the food and what we thought, very personal service! We would highly recommend this restaurant. Great food, Great wine, Great service!! Don’t miss this wonderful experience.
