The ambiance was great but the food was mediocre to bad. The steak was literally inedible. The rest of the dishes were of the quality you would expect at a fast food chain. Completely lame meal. Go there for the view and for drinks and perhaps get the pizza (that we did not try).

We ate at this restaurant last year and found it very good so came this year where we found the food even better. The service was as good, not over the top or poor but a well relaxed manner that was friendly and endearing. The food was the best we experienced in Amalfi by far in the week we have been here and we ate at some of the top end hotels, so I suggest you seek this restaurant out. Lastly the view is also one of the best with views across to Positano.

As we walked out to the terrace where we ate dinner, it was hard not to tear up because of the beauty of the location. We loved our dinner and dessert, but best of all was the view, the ambiance and the staff. They went above and beyond to support our evening to be cherished for the rest of our lives.

La Dolce Vista was a great find! The views are the best and the food and service top notch. Not only was the food cooked to perfection, the presentation was beautiful! We highly recommend La Dolce Vista and we will return! Grazie to the owner and his staff!

We have eaten out at nearly every restaurant in Praiano during our trip. La Dolce Vista was an absolute delight. Very good and attentive service, the manager was extremely friendly and spoke with us about the history of the Amalfi Coast giving us insights to this amazing area. I had the swordfish and my wife the ravioli, both were flawlessly prepared. The highlight of the meal for me was the Taglia Dolce Vista. A selection of local cured meats and cheeses from the area that were so delicious. Grazie Dolce Vista we will be back!

Great little family restaurant with excellent views and great ambiance. Food quality was good (although not the best we had in Italy) and seafood was mostly fresh. Pricing was reasonable and service was extremely attentive. Overall great little find.
