Was so excited to return for the spaghetti which is usually delicious but instead got a bowl of overcooked almost crunchy pasta, was so disappointed, the staff were lovely as always! Left hungry and sad😩

A lovely setting on the water with beautiful decor . Very attentive service & great food . Pasta excellent & prices for the quality of the food & presentation very reasonable. We will be back !

I was overall disappointed with La Dolce Vita . The staff were very disorganised despite being nice - when you got their attention! Food was average - our shared starter of burrata was lovely, as was my risotto but my husbands pizza (despite reading good reviews about their pizzas) was extremely disappointing (under cooked, doughie, and bland in flavour). Desert was also not so good - a nice semi-fredo but they destroyed it by smothering it in artificial chocolate sauce. So easy to make a nice fresh chocolate sauce so there’s no excuse. Location was lovely and they clearly survive for this. Although there was a party boat in the harbour right opposite the restaurant which was very disturbing to those like us wanting a quiet romantic meal. I am unlikely to return.

The location was fantastic. There were two waiters. One gentleman employee, he was helpful, polite, friendly and attentive. The other lady was rude and really spoilt the evening because she just didn't care. She avoided service, wouldn't acknowledge my wife, ignoring her requests for drinks and deserts twice. In actual fact, we cut our booking short, and took our money elsewhere. We also noticed 2 other couples had extremely poor service from the same lady serving, to the point one person could be very clearly saying 'is there a problem'.. Nice location, a great sharing platter of meats etc. The main was terrible, undercooked and over seasoned with incredible amounts of black pepper. The other main was very dry by over heating. Overall poor experience

When we were seated at our table next to the wall there were many ants on the wall and floor. We showed the staff and moved to a different table. Other guests had the same experience but no staff attempted to address this situation. Our starters were ok but very disappointed in the selection (3) of alcohol brands available compared to previous visits. Both main courses had to be returned as one pasta dish was overcooked and the other undercooked and not usual standard for seafood.

The location is great, one of our favourite places to chill is on the Marina. The food was good, we were a party of four and all enjoyed the meals, good tasting, good portions. However, for us the service was extremely slow, we were asked to find our own table of four, but there were only tables of two available so organised our own table of four. It was at least 15 mins before anyone approached for drinks and at least another 15 mins before our order was taken. Our starters arrived 35 mins later. In previous weeks we have seen that the restaurant is full, but last night it was not full, so was not expecting there to be so long to wait. The customers on the outside part of the terrace seemed to be attended to more efficiently than us and the other other customers that were situated in the inside part glassed section of the restaurant! Would definitely return but would hope for much more efficient service.

The food was delicious. The pasta, pizza and risotto were as good as we've had anywhere. The service seemed to struggle as the restaurant got busier. However, not enough to discourage me from going again.

Wow Wow wow ! The food here was absolutely 10/10 such a nice place to eat , all the staff was lovely and friendly , would recommend this to absolutely anyone looking for a classy meal :) x
