Flawless experience and amazing value.

A long, lazy Sunday lunch. We booked on the off chance but came up trumps. Beautiful food, a delightful combination of flavours, beautifully presented. Not the cheapest option in Villeréal but one of the best.

Simple and informal but the quality of the food was excellent. I am a vegetarian and they catered for me with no notice. Just a limited menu based on seasonal food but excellent.

Poor vegetarian choice, no Fish of the Day,missing part of the Gourmand was missing and replaced by a tasteless glass of cream. Fish dish and white wine nice, but that was all.

Quaint small restaurant down a side street off the main square, with about a dozen or so tables. We went for lunch having booked online the day before, and we were sat at a lovely table for two in the corner. There was a set menu comprising of two options for starter, main course and dessert and my partner is pescatarian and was well catered for. All three courses were lovely, and we had a local Bergerac Rose wine which was also lovely and the bill was just over 40 Euros which I think was very good value. We would highly recommend this restaurant and will go again.

Small & cosy restaurant, very good food.

A really quiet night in Villereal - we were the only people in the restaurant. Service was excellent, very attentive without being overwhelming. Lovely log fire and warm atmosphere. Food was very good, well prepared, attractive and timely. Good selection of wines. We will return.

The quality of the dishes was disappointing. Unrefined mise en bouche, main dish of lamb was correct (like a sunday roast at home). The desert was a total let down (revisite lemon pie, which turned out to be a very hard sablé with some cream and hard meringue). All in all expensive for what it was.

What a lovely find, a cosy escape, great aperitif. Food lovely beautifully presented, just the menu a bit limited, only three things, veal, Margret and cod, we aren't big meat eaters which generally is a in problem in south west France. The cod was beautiful and tasty.

We enjoyed a lovely meal outside on the terrace. The service was very friendly.

The food was excellent, we had the taster menu, far too much, so beware dont order unless you are really hungry. The restaurant just lacked a bit of ambiance there was no background music so you could here a pin drop and again unfortunately the waitress needs to be a little more friendly.

This is the second time we have visited this restaurant and both times we have been delighted withe the food, the atmosphere, the staff and the special treatment of vegetarians. Vegetarians are given the same imagination that non vegetarians get - texture, taste, colour and presentation were all well considered and required skill to prepare and create. We were really pleased with the meal - THANK YOU.
