We ventured into La Fantasia with a group of 6 Not sure what to expect from the quaint Moroccan restaurant in the village of Maussane. Let me quickly encourage you to race to La Fantasia with an empty stomach to feast on their amazing and authentic Moroccan food. We started with the prawns wrapped in crispy angel hair pasta which had a delightful blend of spices that melted in your mouth. Each couple decided to get one chicken and one lamb tangine to split, accompanied by mouth watering cous cous served traditionally with spicy harissa and golden raisins.

The food is not the only amazing aspect of the place, the staff (in fact I think it was the owner who served our table all night) was exceptional in directing us to their favorite dishes and wine, and were overtly attentive for the duration of dinner. The atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming, both in the pleasant air conditioning inside, as well as the shaded outdoor patio in the back. I would go back every week if we lived here!
