10/10The rooftop terrace dining room was really delightful. Service was attentive and friendly. But most importantly, the food was sublime. We shared a pasta with a white rabbit ragu as a starter, then had two main courses, a chicken roulade in a wonderful sauce and a seared croaker in a Mediterranean stew. Everything was absolutely delicious. And with the 20% discount, the bill was extremely reasonable. Highly recommended!

8.5/10We enjoy dining al fresco, and the rooftop environment of this restaurant did not disappoint. The staff spoke very good English, and their pours of wine by the glass were more than ample. The Carbonara was outstanding. One of the owners visited with us, and he was quite delightful. Lots of tributes in the names of cocktails and the restaurant's name to Rene Magritte. The 20% a la carte discount provided thru The Fork was very appreciated.

8/10The food was very good, and the service was attentive and prompt for the most part. The only issue was our side vegetables didn’t come till the very end of the meal, after we were finished. There was also an extra dish added to our bill, which we had to ask to have removed. That was concerning, because if we hadn’t noticed it, it would’ve taken up our discount.

La Fata Ignorante si trova a cavallo fra il rinomato quartiere Monti, l’Esquilino e la Stazione Termini. Il ristorante, situato all’ultimo piano dell’Hotel Iq, si affaccia sulla piazza del Teatro dell’Opera; frequentato da “locals” e molto ricercato da clientela business e turisti stranieri, per la sua fama e per l'alta qualità del servizio offerto in varie lingue. Materiali nobili, luce intima, ambienti accoglienti, soffusi e cromaticamente gentili, in un attento connubio fra bellezza e funzionalità. Una “casa” comoda, immersa nella vegetazione, sia internamente che esternamente, una casa, esteticamente accattivante, posta nel centro di Roma. Dieci copie in dimensione originale di altrettante opere di Tamara de Lempicka ed una avvolgente musica di sottofondo. Alta qualità e rispetto della stagionalità. Valorizzazione del pesce e della carne, in un attento connubio fra tradizione italiana e rivisitazioni, in chiave creativa, mai estremizzata. Un'esperienza che coinvolga i sensi, con semplice ricercatezza, nell'intima convinzione che il cibo vada assaporato col palato, con gli occhi ed in primis con la mente e con il cuore. Come sosteneva Caspar David Friedrich "L'unica vera sorgente dell'arte è il nostro cuore, il linguaggio di un animo infallibilmente puro. Un'opera che non sia sgorgata da questa sorgente può essere soltanto artificio. Ogni autentica opera d'arte viene concepita in un'ora santa e partorita in un'ora felice, spesso senza che lo stesso artista ne sia consapevole, per l'impulso interiore del cuore".
