Voyagez sur les pas des plus célèbres peintres impressionnistes. La Ferme Saint-Siméon était au 19ème siècle le refuge de Monet, Courbet mais aussi du poète Baudelaire. Sa vue magnifique sur l’estuaire de la Seine était une source d’inspiration.

Aujourd’hui, il s’agit d’un Relais et Château dont le restaurant met l’accent sur les saveurs de la mer. Vous pouvez y déguster entre autres le homard bleu rôti, beurre Maître d’Hôtel avec ses pommes et fruits caramélisés. En dessert, le moelleux au chocolat et son cœur liquide à la menthe fraîche vous transporteront dans d’autres sphères.

Le charme opère immédiatement que ce soit au coin de la cheminée ou sur la terrasse côté jardin.

The food was very good and beautifully presented. However, the service was very disappointing. Although told, the waiter brought a plate with tomatoes which my husband is allergic to. We seem to have angered the waitstaff when we asked if we could order a green salad. The rest of the evening, they were completely inattentive which is obviously not what you hope for.

The restaurant is in a lovely setting, with a very pretty outside dining area. Rather formal but unfortunately very slow service. It took 55 minutes for our meal to arrive. The prices are expensive! We ordered fillet steak and veal as our two main courses, the meat was excellent but was served with a rather meagre portion of vegetables. They could not provide gluten free chips for my husband. The fillet steak was 56 euros and the veal 65 euros. I suggest checking the menu and prices before booking.

Bon accueil, Ambiance! Mais la qualité de mets ne correspond pas au niveau des prix. Le turbot était décevant.
Take few expensive ingredients and arrange them together will not make a piece of culinary art. My personal opinion that turbot should not be overdone and overworked.
Foie gras chaud was good and as well as veloute de chataigne. However the quality-price point was a bit exaggerated.
