I'd read others' reviews and thus why we chose the restaurant. It sits next to the tourism office on the main circle that goes around the city center, yet in the evening, traffic was fairly quiet. We sat outside on their large patio. Service was excellent, wait staff welcoming and helpful. We don't speak French and they worked with us to make sure we were ordering what we wanted. We shared a hamburger and one of the plates of the day (a delicious layered vegetable and chicken dish), and a fantastic chocolate torte for dessert. It's quite casual so a good place to go for a nice dinner at the end of a long day.

Over 2 weeks, we went twice to the restaurant, each time at La Fille des Vignes, because we wanted to have more of the dishes we enjoyed the first time!
Fresh products, classic dishes but well-executed and sometimes with a twist, not too much sugar in the desserts. It rarely happens that we order a full set course nowadays (appetizer, main course, dessert), but we did it here.
