La Fontana

Very nice place. The mood is very light. The food is good, and the “Sangria” as well. In the overall it is a very nice place to eat, drink and have a good conversation with someone.

2nd time we have been there, and it was just as great as our first. The restaurant feels homely, with great staff, and a very friendly owner. :) The burrata was once again lovely, lasagne great, and my favourite the carbonara la fontana, well worth ordering. No need for any accompaniment, the food is balanced and simply perfect as is. Definitely our new favourite.

What an amazing find. We stumbled upon this little jem per chance, but will definitely be back. We started with burrata, which was delicious, and a must have. I followed with the truffle carbonara, again a winning dish. I highly recommend this italian gem

The food is good and the chefe friendly and helpful. The waiters nevertheless are unfriendly and seem as if they doing the clients a favour in serving them. As a group, we had to ask several times for them to bring things to the table. Quite unpleasant! Definitely didn’t enjoy the service.

Excellent service that make the client feel welcome to the restaurant and must importantly creating all the conditions to enjoy all the moments of the dinner. The food was really fresh with great quality of the products. My dish was lasagna that was really good and the list of wines offered is not usual list, but the chardonnay was very good and most important of the list is to make difference from the others (not just the "normal" wines)

I liked very much Pulcini in Leça da Palmeira. I considered it one of the best Italian restaurants in Porto. All I can say about La Fontana is that I've experienced the same delicious food and the same kindness from the staff. Definitely a place to go.

The lasagna was great, where it isn't burnt, even thought i payed for the whole lasagna. It's not the first time this happens

A bit disappointed. Pizze were not very tasty and mozarella on it was not mozarella (or low quality) Reduction with the fork is valuable and good for the service&product
